  1. I see what you did there. Gladly, I believe the Canucks days of taking waivers in older players to be over, for the time being.
  2. Demoralizing is a great way to put it. The way those three teams used their size to wear Vancouver down was hard to watch, especially when douchenozzles like Getzlaf would get away with injuring players. I'm going to enjoy watching that assclown suffer. Hahahaha.
  3. I can literally hear you wringing your hands. I'm of the same mind, Herr. It's been a slog, watching the Canucks be manhandled and outpaced by those teams, but now that the Canucks are the younger, faster, and stronger team, those California trips are going to be fun.
  4. It's nice to hear Toews show Bo some respect. I wonder who this Toes guy is though.
  5. Try getting off of Dhaliwal's (expletive deleted) and give reading the tweet another try. "It is time for the #Canucks to have some serious discussions with Brock Boeser or he won’t be at camp next week. Due to lack of cap space, I get the feeling talking to various sources today, a 3-5 year deal could make the most sense." This isn't stating any facts at all. It's Rick spitballing about why negotiations aren't moving along. Is Dhaliwal part of the negotiations? Has he talked to Brock and found out that he's not going to report to camp? He implies that the Canucks aren't being serious about the negotiations with Boeser, yet doesn't back up that assertion with any proof. You call that reporting? I'm fine with waiting to see how things play out, but by the looks of the tweet, Dhaliwal isn't. That should be obvious, but I guess some people need a little help understanding things.
  6. What a waste of a tweet. Dhaliwal is just manufacturing drama these days.
  7. I was joking. I'm with you on OJ.
  8. Do you honestly think that fans discussing Horvat's suitableness for captaincy has any effect or sway with Aqulini, Benning, and Green? I don't. Bo's performance on the ice and in front of the media makes him an ideal candidate, in my opinion. If he is given the C, it'll be because of those aspects of his overall body of work, and not because of where he fits in chronologically. In my humble opinion, a team captain represents the team on a whole and isn't always the team's best player. Is Shea Weber the best player on the Canadiens? Bo's been the transitional leader from the older core to the newer one, and has never let up or lost focus. When Desjardins spoke about him as being a fourth line grinder, he took that on and persevered, never complaining to the press. There will be a team captain this fall, by all accounts, and the probability of Bo being the captain is pretty high. I don't see that being a detraction or distraction to the team at all.
  9. Fans can discuss this stuff on a forum without the team taking it into account. The last thing Benning or Green should do is use fan opinion as a barometer for their choice, and I don't think they are. Having an opinion that Horvat would be a good captain isn't disrespectful to the other potential candidates at all. It's an opinion. Now, if someone started a campaign, sure.
  10. I'm thinking that Benning would prefer to keep Baertschi and Pearson over Eriksson. I can't see them moving out far more useful players because they can't deal with Eriksson.
  11. The fans opinions don't dictate who gets the C. People can have opinions. You clearly have an axe to grind with Horvat and it's pretty ridiculous.
  12. Latest footage of Canuck is worrisome. He's clearly been drinking.
