  1. Friends and family, yes....government agencies aren't really doing a bang up job though, so I wouldn't count on them too much. That being said, it is a very sad story that leaves many suffering in its wake. The families of the victims, who were inexplicably and senselessly killed, to the families of the two, who have to not only mourn the loss of their children, but try to make sense of the carnage they committed.
  2. So.....Loui Eriksson is still not traded. I wonder if he'll be traded before training camp and what Jim might get in return.
  3. Regardless of the sometimes arduous road that's taken things to where they are, this season will prove to be a turning point (in my humble opinion) for the team on a whole. The speed and skill that the team showed last year was truly exciting, as was the resolve to stay in games until the bitter end. Now, with the addition of players who enjoy and revel in the physical aspect of the game, this team will be a complex opponent that won't be easy to solve, let alone manage, on the ice.
  4. Check this poster's history for some real nonsensical doozies.
  5. I wouldn't say that if I were you. Did Brock reinstate the restraining order? I heard that Loui has a standing restraining order for you after he heard about your shrine. You mentioned Trump because, as usual, you're reaching and desperate to have anyone believe that you actually make sense.
  6. Where is it at? Looks like fans are getting excited about this season for sure.
  7. I do. I think you need any excuse to mention Loui. Trump seems like a logical segue......
  8. The area where the zoo was now mainly centers around a train that runs a few times a year, Halloween and Christmas mainly. I miss that old zoo though. It was a hidden gem in the park.
  9. The zoo has been gone for years. The Aquarium is still around though.
  10. That’s good to hear. Benning did the work to improve the team and didn’t waste time on an older player.
  11. I hope Shattenkirk doesn’t think he’s going to go very far in the playoffs.
  12. Interesting. I wonder who that would be? New York? They just moved out Shattenkirk.
  13. Without a frickin' doubt. Just looking at the picture makes me queasy. And as far as using the washroom, I'd have done that upon being up there. Here's one from after lunch. F' that noise.
  14. Not at all, ry. Your post was solid. It's more so how a thread that contains even a sliver of mention of....the guy...seems to start a snowball effect. I've been more than guilty in the past of it, without a doubt, but am trying to focus on the team as a whole and this coming season is pretty exciting all things considered. Exactly. He's been given a much more competent roster this coming season that will be far more capable of playing the type of game he likes to coach.
  15. And all roads in CDC these days lead back to Loui Eriksson, even an interview where the coach talks about the entire team. FML.
  16. Exactly. Green is a very smart man. His approach has always been to keep the media at arms length, and this interview is no different. I like that MacIntyre kept the questions useful and not leading or speculative. There is zero need for any Canucks fan to know what's going on behind closed doors. Like none. That's the business of the team. What's on the ice, is what matters.
  17. That'll happen on the ice, most likely.
  18. I'm sure those questions will come up as the season draws closer.
