  1. This is insane. What is the endgame for the people proliferating the deepfakes? Some people clearly have way too much time on their hands.
  2. His check on Chara was the only highlight in an otherwise horrible game 7.
  3. I wonder if Canada, and BC in particular would have the cojones to implement those measures/barriers.
  4. I’ll never forgive you, SabreFan. Never ever.
  5. It’s July. The season doesn’t start until October. Relax.
  6. I don’t want you banned, but expecting that you would be. Good thing deb has thick skin.
  7. I'm thinking that some of you aren't quite getting it.
  8. Solid post. Will read again. Especially about giving Tryamkin the C.
  9. This is ridiculous. Why are people not fighting back? The pro-government assailants look pretty gutless while carrying out their attack. Cowardly doesn't begin to describe the exchange. What a mess that country can be.
  10. Let me get this straight: This person met someone online and invited them into their home and thought that it was a good idea to turn their back on them? They felt they were being discriminated because they weren't offered water out of a cup or glass? And was it determined that the officers were laughing at them because they were transgendered? Laughing at a potential victim (which is what they were to the police at the time) isn't professional or proper behavior for someone in law enforcement, but to say it's discriminatory is reaching, unless, they were one of many people being helped at the time, and their treatment differed from the rest. There is a huge amount of grey area in the article that doesn't really provide a clear picture.
  11. I've been resisting the urge to wade into this debate, but I feel the need to address a few things. No one has attacked Juolevi here. People have given their opinion (on both sides of the ledger) regarding where he is development wise from a fan perspective. Now if someone stated that "Juolevi is a loser and should be frozen under the rink!", I'd call that an attack. Merely giving an opinion/observation/assumption is not an attack. Being a fan of the sport before a team is always of benefit, as it gives one a greater viewpoint in which to perceive the play and performance of the players on the team that they enjoy. Personally, I love the game of hockey, and do appreciate what various players around the league bring. However, once a game is on that involves the Canucks, my bias is intact. That being said, if an opposing player makes a great play/hit/save, I can (and do) appreciate it, as it makes the game worth watching. Once the playoffs started and I was watching, I pulled for certain teams in each series, and enjoyed it. Was it of the same fever pitch that I do when the Canucks play? No. I hear what you're saying Alf, and do see that some folks out there tend to focus on the derision side of certain players.
  12. Kalamazoo: The original home of Gibson Guitars. Sadly no aquarium or zoo though. So no Kalamazoo Zoo.
  13. It's mockery. If you see greatness, there is nothing modern medicine can do to help you with that affliction. May Gord have mercy on your soul.
  14. Exactly Borvat. Anyone actually involved in the game knows that a team needs every possible strength to make it all the way. I've noticed that the narrative of smaller and faster has been pushed more so by the analytics only community. Considering that the majority of the twerps neither watch the game nor play it, it's hard to take their spreadsheet only approach with any degree of seriousness.
  15. Faster and smaller. The Capitals and Blues being the last two teams to win the Stanley Cup say otherwise.
