  1. I feel sorry for the children in this case. Not only were they traumatized by the carjacker, but have useless moronic parents, and were witnesses to a murder. Gord bless the Untied States of 'Murica.
  2. Clearly Ferland and Benn will be the two best pugilists on the team now, with Roussel being a solid third. What I love about how all three fight is that they're fearless in how they fight.
  3. I saw the same thing initially. My mind immediately went to Darren too. The Oil would have been smart to have grabbed him instead of a Chayka cast off.
  4. I saw Archibald and thought Darren. That Ken Holland is building a dynasty!
  5. I was a Gudbranson supporter throughout his time here and enjoyed how dominant he was in fights, and when he connected on a hit. I'm not sure how he'd measure up against Reaves, although I'm sure that would be one hell of a fight. Most likely he'd use his size advantage on Ferland if they mixed it up, and probably stands 60-70% chance of winning in that match up.
  6. Well, we'll have to wait and see. I'm not totally convinced. Gudbranson - 6'5" 220 Ferland - 6'1" 217 Gudbranson has a clear height/reach advantage, but they sit within three pounds of each other, and both are very tough. I don't see it being as cut and dry.
  7. Totally. He pummeled Hamonic. Ferland is a bit tougher than Travis, and can lay some pretty powerful punches too.
  8. While Gudbranson may have the advantage from a reach perspective, they're around the same weight, and Ferland is just as willing to drop them. I don't think Ferland would decline and I'm not so sure that it would be an automatic Gudbranson victory.
  9. I'm going to enjoy watching the Canucks crush the Leafs from a physical standpoint.
  10. Listen Loui. I get that you don't like being berated on these boards, but it's your fault for playing like ass. Why don't you just enjoy your summer with the family in Dallas.
  11. Probably because having Ferland on a line with Petterson and Boeser all but guarantees that he'll keep an eye (and plenty o' fists) on things without giving up position like a defenseman would.
  12. In the end, all the talk is just that. Talk. The team needs to only play for themselves and their fans. The rest is just noise.
  13. Probably not. Ferland may not be as tall as Gudbranson, but he weighs the same, if not a couple of pounds more, and can throw.
  14. But...but....he's clearly asking for a trade to Minnesota and will take Stecher with him! I think the majority of the noise is generated by media types looking for clicks and traffic. They know that things have slowed down now with free agency and the draft in the rearview mirror, so the next move is to examine all the RFAs and speculate, speculate, SPECULATE!
  15. Well said, Zepp. When I go on Bleacher Report, I usually have to wade through a stupid tweet from Grady Sas, finding the negatives in every single aspect of the Canucks operation, with almost gleeful exuberance. These clowns have had the negativity ingrained into their heads by the likes of Patterson, Botchford, Price, Sekeres and many more Tony Gallagher disciples. I'm all for fair and impartial reporting, and do feel that Ben Kuzma might be the closest thing, along with Ryan Biech.
