  1. Thank you for doing so. That bastard deserves every boo.
  2. Just grab the sides of the desk and bend over, Jimbo.
  3. I do think that things have become a little thin in the personnel department lately. When did Stephane get saved from Robidas Island?
  4. Reaves could factor into the fourth line pretty well. He's still probably one of the most intimidating players in the game, and would be welcome on the team. Having the a young right handed defense prospect from Duncan would be great too.
  5. Two words: Brayden McNabb. Shouldn't cost too much in a trade. IS 28 years old, has size 6'4" 212 lbs, and uses it well, and has a cap hit of $2.5M for the next two years.
  6. Fair enough. Thanks for calling it like it is.
  7. Not in that instance. He had spoken in length about looking forward to playing the Heritage Classic, and did deserve to play it based on his place on the team. He had every right to be insulted, in my opinion. He did have an issue keeping his emotions in check during games though. That I agree with.
  8. I've heard to the contrary. Initially when Schneider grabbed the starting role from him, there was talk that Luongo wanted out. Once Schneider was traded, Luongo reassumed the mantle of starter and played well. The year that Torts was coach, word on the street was that Luongo had finally convinced his wife to move from Florida to BC, and his kids had been enrolled in local schools. Once Tortorella decided to, in a moment of monumental stupidity, give Lack the net at the Heritage Classic, Luongo was insulted and asked to be traded, and the trade happened the following day.
  9. I think Benning should go after Martin Frk as a depth forward for Utica. He could play with Spooner. Imagine Frk and Spooner on a line together. Huh? Huh?
  10. Because Luongo doesn't have a mystery illness.
  11. I wonder what the story is with Schenn. Has he decided to see what the FA market has to offer, or is Benning thinking he can find more truculence and physical play elsewhere? Would really like to see Schenn back. Based on Boeser's comments, he made an immediate impact with the younger players. He made a solid first pass out of the zone and never looked flustered.
  12. I hope Jim stands his ground with Myers' agent, if they start getting past the sniffing butt stage.
  13. You are either with us, or against us. There is no middle ground.
  14. Still can't believe that Chara became available as a FA in 2006.
  15. I'm not sure if Benning is set on Myers or not, as he hasn't personally come out and said anything about it. We're getting a lot second hand info through various sources at the present, of which the majority of are mentioning Myers. Perhaps his agent is slipping various media sources some funds in hopes of generating interest?
