  1. A defense boasting Hughes and Barrie would be an offensive threat on two of the pairings for sure. I'd prefer Benning sign a couple of large, aggressive defensemen who're over protective of their teammates, especially their goalies.
  2. That would make more sense, as much as I think Stecher is a great player, I'd prefer the Canucks not get smaller again.
  3. So if this is the trade, how does Vancouver deal with the fact that it, once again, is getting smaller, and less physical? Certainly Barrie is a talented puck-moving defenseman, but he's pretty small, and having a defense with him, Stecher, and Hughes, while exciting from a offensive perspective, would get manhandled.
  4. Of course. Benning ruined Dahlen. Oh....and Green.
  5. I'm thinking the business Benning is going to get down to in the next couple of weeks will get you stoked all over again.
  6. Coming to a Canucks executive box near you..... Hey Chia, only Benning may cheer.
  7. NO EXCUSE! Wait...sorry.....Yeah. I had a look inside of Eriksson's head recently.....
  8. That seemed to be the same excuse with Vrbata. No excuse in my opinion. Edler's performance wasn't affected by the first season he played without them.
  9. Someone trade somebody!

  10. Exactly Wink. These opinion pieces are written by chuckleheads who cover the team, but would have zero concept or idea as to how to get things done. Would any of these clowns do a better job if given the position?
  11. Thanks riff. Good to know. I figured that Benning and Green would have addressed the fact that Eriksson was a floater. This news is music to my ears as a Canucks fan. As soon as Green benched Eriksson, I was impressed. Holding vets accountable for underwhelming performances is the right way to go, and sends the right message to the team.
  12. Eriksson is really starting to show his true colors. Why not take Benning's call? What a primadonna. This guy truly is the second coming of Vrbata. Hopefully Jim has had his fill of signing these types of over the hill players to large contracts.
  13. It’s the Lol at the end that seals the deal for me. You say it with such authority. Your unique perspective and insight is so overwhelming.
  14. My guess is that turd Walker is still upset that he lost his computer bag.
