[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Winnipeg Jets | Nov. 08, 2019

It was bound to happen. Schaller couldn't carry us forever -
I was impressed with the boys last night, they persevered against a top level team that was digging deep into their obstruction toolbox to not let our guys play. Even when the Blues had zone time the Canucks did a great job keeping them to the outside and limited high danger chances. These 2 teams and their playing styles would make for an epic playoff series. And as for Marky breaking his stick, I've got no issues with it after the final buzzer as long as he keeps calm and quiet between the whistles which is what Ian Clark has worked with him to do.

[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Anaheim Ducks | Nov. 01, 2019

3 years on and Green is still treating Jake like a b*tch. Would suck leaving your hometown team just as they turn the corner but probably best for all if he asked JB to find a deal for him. -

The zebras were too busy deciding if they should call a too many men penalty on us. -
It was in the rematch. Both Jake and Roussel asked Matheson to go in the first period and he turned them both down.

You haven't been watching very closely then. He went after Martel for hitting Stecher high and he also was the first guy who asked Matheson to go after the Pettersson hit (both within the last year). Jake wasn't drafted to be a fighter and quite frankly I don't think he has the stones to be one but he's still sticks up for team mates when needed.

[GDT] Canucks vs Capitals Diwali Night Edition Oct 25 7pm SN1

It's a bit of a stretch to call the 10th game of the season a huge game, but this game is hugely important for the boys. Washington is going to be pissed that they blew that game last night, they are playing arguably their hotter tendie against the Canucks and teams on the second game of back to back usually have more jump in the first period. Canucks have to weather the early pressure and keep the caps within a goal going into the third for when they inevitably tire in order to win this one. -
I wouldn't sit Ferland, I would play him with Bo and Jake and try to get him going. Green isn't going to sit a winger to play Gaud either unless Sutter moves to wing and quite frankly our bottom 2 centers are playing great right now so I don't see that happening. Until the boys lose again it should be status quo barring injuries anyways.

[GDT] Canucks Vs. Red Wings | October 22, 2019 @ 4:30 PST

Did they forget to freeze the pucks tonight? Bad bounces everywhere -
The PP is mediocre at the moment, theres no denying it. That being said, it hasn't hurt our place in the standings, yet. Long term you want your team to have a combined PK and PP percentage of around 105% to be better than average (number one last year was Tampa at 113%). Our PK is currently shouldering the load at 95% but best case scenario will end up at 85% by seasons end. That means our PP (which is currently at 16.7%) probably only has to improve by about 3-5% to keep us competitive with other playoff teams. Thats not an insurmountable improvement for this group of players so no need to hit the panic button just yet.

If Biega plays tonight for the Wings I hope it's as a defenseman. The guy crushes people when he plays wing.
