Canuck fans obviously want the team to do well, but a lot of fans have a hard time getting excited for single games in isolation after a decade of meaningless hockey. Do you think the team gets on a heater from here on out, makes the playoffs, and has the assets to add pieces to make this team a true contender? And if they don’t, no matter what happens you’ll root for the Canucks no matter what they do? If so, good on you and hope you enjoy the season. Or, Do you think this team lacks the core to become a contender and also lacks the assets to make us one with this current team? And find it hard to get excited over individual wins over lower level teams because you’re unsure what the management’s overall plan for this organization is? And your fandom rests in the institution of the Canucks and an eventual desire to see the Canucks hoist the Cup, and any player/executive who you feel is a determent to the ultimate goal of the Canucks eventually winning the Cup is worthy of criticism?
