Sure. People are getting the crap kicked out of them .... back at work and fine 3 days later. Not really much different from a bad flu strain. Overall health and immune systems are key, as they always are.

As much as I worry about actually agreeing with you Alf, I'm getting to think this variant could be the beginning of the end .... before the virus rides off into the endemic status it's destined to be. Governments willingly letting go of mandates? Not so sure about that one. We'll see.
My cousin and his then-girlfriend met Brian back in '75 or '76 when Queen was on tour. They were tipped off about which hotel the band was staying at and went down there to the hotel bar after the show to see what might be happening. Brian came down to the lounge for a drink at one point and they spent an hour casually talking with him. They said he was a very nice man ..... and he asked more questions about them than they asked about him.
