  1. The Flames were a very very desperate team as their playoff lives were on the line. Even with the win they are still hanging on to a playoff spot by a thread. The Canucks even with the loss are still in control of their own destiny.
  2. Went and read the PGT on Calgary Puck. Feel way better now.
  3. He absolutely had contact and control of the puck. He pushed the puck forward from just outside the blue line to just across the blue line. He moved the puck all of a foot if that. He moved the puck into the zone while the Boston player was still inside.
  4. My take... Boston first goal was offside and here is why... the Boston player had control of the puck when he crossed the blue line with the puck and the other Boston player was offside. Had said Boston player banked the puck off the boards and then failed to touch it, then yes not offside. However the Boston player had total control of the puck and was merely stick handling. Let’s get real here... a players stick is not always touching his stick when stick handling. That goal and subsequent power play set the tone of the game. Bottom line Refs 1 Canucks 0
  5. I’m with Alf on this one. I pick the Canucks. 4-2 Canucks Canucks Pearson.
  6. Jake or Brock on the first line. When Jake is on it the eye test says they play less in their own zone. Miller and Jake have chemistry. When Brock is on the line they are worse defensively but seem to be more dangerous on offence. Brock and Petey have chemistry. Flip a coin. The long range solution may be a different winger/centre for Petey and Brock and another winger/centre for Jake and Miller.
  7. Have to figure there will be some even up calls.
