On another note, Brenden Gaunce scored his 3rd goal in 7 games for the Blue Jackets tonight. -
First of all by being the fastest skater on the team he causes chance. He had at least one shot on goal which gave a nice rebound. He digs the puck out of the back of the net and makes good passes. He's scored in the minors. He gives the team something they lack, speed and the willingness to shoot the puck. And also he's big which is something we need. I'm not saying he's a star but I would like to see them give him a fair chance. We may have outshot St Louis but we have a problem scoring. Other than Miller and Garland we dont exactly have any snipers. Maybe Bo. Dickersons got hands of stone. Pod and Hogs can't hit the net. Petty can't even handle the puck. Brock looks like his best days are behind him. The team is playing great as a team. Too bad nobody can put the puck in the net.

Originally that was a geographic description. 2 clicks from the US border and Flames country to the east. Been a Canuck fan since 1974. B&W TV with rabbit ears. Then a TV antena you turned around to get 2 snowy stations. Seen a lot of "sure things" come and go. Hope Garland proves me wrong.

Cause I'm close to Flames country ! Been a Canuck fan since before most of you experts were born. Seen too many of these "sure things" not live up to their past when we get them. Still not impressed with Garland irregardless of his past. Time will tell. Pod and Rathbone aer keepers though.

I'd rather have Petan than Garland. Garland hasn't shown much.
