    Just caught up to all of this now... forgot the forum closes in less than 5 hours

     

    That was an awesome game and reminds me why I've spent parts of nearly 10 years (wtf how has it been that long?) playing this game. Even though I haven't played it with the same intensity as I used to in years, it was fitting that I went back to taking time out of my day to commit to the game one last time on this site, and it was great to see many of you guys do the same. But of course there were still some slankers that made it harder to play, wouldn't be CDC mafia without that :P

    @AngryElf @Beluga Whale Congrats, well deserved victory!

     

    @Zfetch @ilduce39 @luckylager @Intoewsables It was fun being part of a "TP alliance" again, feels like it's been a long time since that was a thing lol. Shame we couldn't get it done, I jumped the gun a bit with the numbers and may not have played it optimally, but oh well that's just how it goes sometimes

     

    @Alchemy Time @Where's Wellwood It was nice to play with you guys again, haven't seen you in ages

    I may not have an encyclopedic memory of mafia anymore but I think this game will join the moments of mafia that I'll never forget

    Like @Master Radishes's 100th game with the role madness Zodiac theme, one of my first ever games which kicked off the greatest era of CDC mafia

    Or my first ever win as mafia, where I somehow convinced @Where's Wellwood to vote for the town leader @Intoewsables over me in a F3 (sorry I'll never let you guys forget this), which was basically when I started actually being a decent player

    The famous La Casa Del Horror game where the TP alliance (including me) kept leading CFDs onto TP and played the entire game very poorly but it was a massive game and really fun

    @JohnLocke's Lost themed game which was really confusing especially since multiple people had claimed the same character, and this happened for multiple characters somehow. I actually went back and read through the game after watching Lost

    @Zfetch's game with the secret cult that I was the cult leader of, which everyone got really upset about after the game :D

    Some game where I was on a mafia team that tried a last minute CFD to win the game, and somehow got a TP named Malkin Cookies to join in the CFD :lol:, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. But iirc we somehow failed the CFD and somehow the game kept going competitively instead of every single one of us being confirmed scum

    Lynching Kaz over Dral for no reason in a F3 and losing, my WW moment

    Being the leader of the town when I was mafia in the Hunger Games themed game, getting everyone to use their kill on a TP and tunneling @Beluga Whaleso hard that I got him lynched and we won the game in round 2 without any of us dying

    And probably many other awesome games that I can't think of at the moment that will come back to me later

    And of course the friends I made along the way

    Zfetch - basically confirmed TP in my mind, not really feeling the tinfoil theory on him

    Toews - confirmed TP

    AE - confirmed 3P

    MR - not sure

    AT - likely TP

    shiznak - not sure

    WW - had a TP lean but not sure anymore

    Time Lord - confirmed TP
    DM - not sure

    jazz - not sure

    SD - confirmed TP
    J-23 - not sure

     

    so yeah my mafia leans on jazz and shiznak were never really that strong to begin with and I don't have any true mafia leans now, just feels like we need to keep eliminating the unknown people

    He wasn't really cleared I thought

     

    Overall I don't really like the direction he's gone for most of the game but his comment about the mafia killing BW and ruining the fun seemed genuine. Like maybe a long time ago people used to make comments like that as mafia and think "haha im so clever they'll never think im mafia now" but it became such a cheap tactic over time and no one really does it anymore

    True the roleblocking is probably a compelling enough point...

     

    16 players, 2 confirmed TP (ilduce and Zfetch)

    Let's say the sheriff comes out and gives us 3 TP, then we're at 6 confirmed TP and 10 unknowns

    But we can probably clear at least 2 people by using our brains (I say lucky and AT), so 8 unknowns

    Then let's say we lynch incorrectly and vig kill incorrectly for 2 straight days, the game is still going (assuming 4 mafia are left), and we'll have 4 unknowns left..

     

    So yeah maybe we can win the game if the sheriff comes out

    NIK, seems like he’s in his town meta. Not posting crazy but controlled reactions about things that don’t make sense to him. I don’t agree with Al or TL about voting NIK right now.

     

    Seems to me like this line from SS was unnecessary and possibly a way to distance himself from a teammate.

     

    Given that he does mention Aladeen separately elsewhere in that post but only brings up TL here, to me gives TL a much more scummy read. He was observant enough to disagree with TLs vote but not caring enough to dissect more of TLs game.
