  1. Finally, the level of salt on this forum when the "wrong player" is drafted is comparable to whining child.
  2. Finally Managed to get back on

  3. All the best Booth, but like the previous poster said too bad he woke up now and not before.
  4. http://www.teamradio.ca/news/2014/06/18/mike-santorelli-on-team1040 Full Radio Interview with Mike Santorelli "You know, it feels really good. I started skating last week and it felt better than I thought. It's getting stronger and hopefully within the next week or two, I'll be cleared (for full training)." "Told TEAM1040 on Wednesday that he "100%" wants to stay in Vancouver"
  5. Looks like Santo is back to the swing of things,
  6. If you go on Botchfords article, there are people in the comments that say they rather keep Booth than Santo, I clearly they have no idea what they are talking about and its kinda making me nervous that I didn't hear any contract talks yet..
  7. The thing is which prospect is going to make the jump? we can only speculate.
  8. That's a pretty good question, Santo isn't really a top 6 player but can fill if necessary, yes we all keep talking about how we need to keep spots open for the young guns, but they have to fight and earn it like anyone else on the team.
  9. Agreed, GMJB needs to find the deadweight that's on the team and needs to make some serious choices, I'm down for signing Santo, but size doesn't always mean you have an advantage,
  10. Even though I'm far away, its still scary to think this actually happening..
  11. I'm from Halifax and we had to send back up to NB, and I too saw the video of the officer just slumping over, they better find the bastard,
  12. +1. Santorelli was one of the few bright spots this write off season, like the above poster who can play a variety of positions like Santo? Consider this: what happens if some of the prospects aren't ready to make the jump? He proven himself and he will again, I'm sure Benning will give him a offer of some kind and I'd really like to know who can replace him and at the price point we have for him now.
  13. +1. Everyone is talking about how its important we bring in youngsters(which is true), also a lot of posters claim that he can be easily replaced(I feel he punches his weight way more than hansen) but your bang on.
  14. Its going to be interesting if he could get back to his form before the injury.
  15. Its always good to have a balance of players that are Big, and have serious wheels. I'm sure Benning willing give a good look on Santo.
  16. The guy can play both Centre and Right Wing..pretty versatile
  17. I just read the article by Botchford,(pretty good read) and some of the comments after by other posters: Santorelli for me is the ideal 13th forward. Someone you can plug in anywhere either for injury, or to get a spark. If the Canucks are counting on him being a major roster piece, theyre in trouble. And if theyre not going after a big fish via UFA, I'd keep Booth around. The guy had a significant injury and was told it'd be a full year before feeling normal again, which coincidentally resulted in notably better and consistent hockey from him. Still not worth his contract, but he's one of the more physical forwards on the team when hes going. Another person: You have to be careful about doling $2M to another under-sized player. We all have seen the contribution he made, but his play levlled off. I think that will be his steady level of play and on the occasion he will have an offensive explosion where he will surprise people and put some pucks in the net. If they can nab him for less, good depth signing. But I would rather see them keep Booth then sign Santo if it comes down that. so apparently David Booth is the better player than Santo, ( I really think they should re-sign him) but comparing him to Booth and could do way better than Santo? Thoughts?
  18. Santo will be returning, it depends if that injury he sustained will affect his play.
