That was an entertaining fight! Cowboy with the W Wtffffffffffffff

I saw bits of some of the promos and interviews and all that. Cormier looked scared imo. Hoping it atleast goes a couple rds.
-
Yeah Skip just front runs. He switches teams all the time. I love Pop haha. Love BB too. Oh well whatever. Philly stinks
-
Such a solid pickup. 18 ppg 4 reb 4 assists last year and they got him for the minimum? Steal!
-
Come on chip why u hatin the Spurs??? Classy organization imo. Philly and Bucks should suprise. Super talented teams if healthy.

This is kinda similar to how Shaq and Kobe parted except without all the beef. It's funny cause Kobe is Kyrie's mentor and 100% put this thought in his mind. But Kyrie aint no Kobe. Kyrie can't even lead a team. A scoring guard that plays no defense will lead you to a bottom 6-8 seed lol. This also all but guarantees that Lebron leaves in free agency next yr to either LA (most likely) or Philly (Ben Simmons connection) Tbh this is actually pretty exciting. Maybe the Cavs trade Lebron too? Kyrie for Wall would be a steal for Cle btw

Blow it up! This core doesn't have the juice. Sell high on Smoak. Sell sell sell -
That should be awesome. Against the Ravens too!!

Bruno has been in the league for 3 years now? Play him now or Raps just waste all that potential. Casey is an old school coach will never play him imo. Great coach defensively but he has no real system for offense. I would replace Casey with Jerry Stackhouse. He's the next great coach on the come up. He uses his entire bench and has some innovative ideas on offense.

Raps need to play Caboclo and OG!!!

Has Lavar been right this whole time...

Nba has been the same for many years. It's always been a 2-3 teams league so I wouldn't hate that move. Only difference now is that players have more freedom and they aren't all signing those long term deals. If it was the Lakers and Celtics forming super teams, the fans would love it (biggest fanbases) but if it's Cleveland or GS then ppl get jealous and hate
-
If the Warriors win another ring I could see this happening as well. And I bet once Lebron moves to the West, the Nba will get rid of conference's.
-
Yeah Canucks have some nice up and coming center depth.
-
Pretty surr he already committed to college for another year
-
Go back some pages and ppl were suggesting he's likely a bottom 6 player Good to see him get some recognition. Love his game.

@Watermelon So wait your going to give Kobe credit for ALMOST winning scoring titles but Lebron gets hate for making the finals a ton and losing 5 times!? Interesting... The weak east argument is pretty funny. If Lebron makes less finals his finals record would look much better. But then the haters won't have their main ammo Anyway man I think I'm done with this lol. Good little back and forth. Given more than enough evidence. All about perspective.

The numbers just don't add up for Kobe to be greater than Lebron. Kobe is supposed to be this insane scorer. Only has 2 scoring titles (Jordan had 10/Durant has 4). Crazy good player but only 1 mvp. He should of got mvp the year he averaged 35. That's still only 2. PER, fg%, 3 pt% and most efficiency based stats favor Lebron. It's just facts. Mentioned this before but at the end of the day James has led his team to the chip 3 times. Kobe only did it twice.
-
Why throw your best player on the other teams best players who are going to tire him? Cleveland's winning those series easily so why tax Lebron? He's already playing 43 mins a game in those series. At the end of games and in crucial moments he usually picks up the best player most times. Lebron's slowing down defensively anyway cause of how much freaking basketball he's playing. 7 straight finals = a hell lot of games. Fatigue is bound to set in.
-
Mvps matter in the right context. A Difference of 1 or 2 is whatever. Difference of 3 (LBJ) or 4 (MJ) is telling. Durant is one if the most skilled players ever. Dude is 6'11 and can handle the ball like a pg and shoot like Curry. He used to eat Kobe alive too. It's just now KD's on GS. If you read his quote about him doing his part etc etc you would understand how Durant wanted nothing more than to be finals mvp. He played for stats lol. Btw Lebron averaged 34 and a triple double against Durant and he's viewed as a really good defender...
-
You just described the defensive player of the year, Draymond Green...

You wanna win? Lebron's led his team to a victory in the finals 3 times. Kobe only did it twice. Just in general he's been regarded as most valuable only 1 time compared 4 for James. Isn't that difference between Crobsy and Toews?? Lebron's an underrated shooter. Better 3 pt% than Kobe. Lebron gets easy layups and easy fast break points because he's such a great athlete and has such a high basketball iq. Jordan was same the way. Kobe for the early part of his career too. It's just that Lebron is at the highest level ever athleticism wise (behind Wilt I guess) and has sustained it for longer than Kobe. Which is a huge plus for James. Both Kobe and Lebron are overrated defenders. They have way too many all defensive teams. Kobe was definitely the better on ball defender. He was always a capable defender no matter what wing he was facing. But off ball it's Lebron. He was a monster in the passing lanes and just the overall physicality he brought was great. He used to bully some guards like Rose and Rondo. Also kept up with little speedy guards like Westbrook and Parker. But it's a slight edge to Kobe I guess.
