A lot of what if's...Stats are what they are. Can't change em. Kobe in totality was a worse player than James offensively. Of course Bron can't go out there and drop 81(Neither did Jordan). But Kobe couldn't drop 40+ with 15assists either.

Future stud. Only 17. Canadian!!

My last little note would be to look at their head to head stats. Its speaks volumes imo. http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/h2h_finder.cgi?request=1&player_id1_hint=LeBron+James&player_id1_select=LeBron+James&player_id1=jamesle01&idx=players&player_id2_hint=Kobe+Bryant&player_id2_select=Kobe+Bryant&player_id2=bryanko01&idx=players You presented an actual argument unlike others. Good discussion!

@Watermelon The injury made him miss 1 game but the point still remains that Kobe did minimal work in that series. Shaq went beast mode with 38ppg 17rebs 2 assists. Out of the consensus top 15 players or so Kobe is the least efficient. Take out all the centers and big men and Kobe still falls behind MJ, Magic, Lebron, Bird, Jerry West, etc etc. Lebron's career finals fg is 47% btw. MJ's at 49% for his career and he and Kobe played very similarly. Plus Jordan's era was harder and his % is still much higher... Kobe was a high volume shooter. Very valuable but just not as valuable as the guys I mentioned. A big reason he's considered clutch is cause he wanted to take any/all clutch time shots. There's value in that if your MJ level clutch. And Kobe was close to being MJ level but he didn't quite achieve it. Still clutch however and he has this advantage over Lebron. Thing about Lebron is that he looks for the best play. Doesn't force a shot (sometimes he should) but he makes the best play 10/10 times. Like that pass he gave to Deron Williams in the reg season. LBJ could of taken a shot with 2 guys closing on him and instead he kicked it to wide open DWill. He missed but it was right basketball play. Paul Silas stunk. Mike Brown was average at best. Spoelstra was/is good but Lebron got him as a rookie coach. Blatt had no balls to do anything and Lue can't use his bench for some reason. They all don't come close to Phil Jackson and his staff. Those players I included for Kobe were pretty important players and had valuable roles. The 04' finals where Malone and Payton got injured, Kobe was a shell of himself. They got demolished without those old guys. Bynum fell of cause of injury. Pau is still valubale and playing good basketball. Meta got old. Odom had personal struggles. Kobe beat the Spurs without Shaq 1 time. With Shaq he beat the Spurs 3 time but the Spurs really only had Duncan. Pippen has said he'd take Bron over Jordan. Players flio flop all the time. Most nba players in the league are team Kobe cause they grew up watching him lol. @Hortankin Btw Lonzo's favourite player....Lebron James At the end of the day both are tremendous talents. I have Kobe around 5-8 all time. Also gotta remember Lebron is still going to play another 5-8 years. The accolades will pile up. I'll take Lebron for 47 mins a game. Kobe for the last min. Who's better in that scenario is perspective I guess. Still can't belive Lebron is the first to ever do this. Blows my mind how MJ or Magic or Wilt didn't.

Raps just traded Cory Joseph in a sign and trade for Cj Miles. Nice pickup but they could of got more for Joseph imo. That 3 ball should help though!

Kuzma is so good! Loved that pick at the draft. Tremendous value for the lakers. Nba draft was deeeeep

Instead of having actual basketball discussions you just try to troll. A 73 win team decided to turn over half their roster so they could add the 2nd best player in the league just to beat Lebron... Now the Warriors have 4.5 allstars (Iggy counts as half lol). Cleveland has 3. A 73 win team adding KD to beat James and Iggy getting a finals mvp for watching Lebron score in the 15' finals are the two biggest cases for why he is so great...
-
If you've watched enough basketball you would have seen more than enough clutch plays from Lebron. Some of the highlights would be scoring 24 of 25 against Detroit in 4thq/ot Game winner against the Magic in east conf finals where he averaged 38ppg 9reb 9assists and still lost... Game winner against GS in 14' Game winner against Spurs in finals The Boston game 6 playoff game where he dropped 46 to force a game 7 which he won aswell. "Most of LBJs pts are off of easy layups" LMAO. You sound like a little kid. Doesn't matter how you score. Goal is to just score. Brandon Ingram had a game tying LAYUP last night in summer league. Still counts as clutch! I would take Shaq over any of Lebron's teammates ever. Bynum was a monster in his prime. Him and Gasol were the best front court in the league. Kobe has always had just as much if not more help than most superstars. Why do you keep bringing up past his prime old Ray Allen? What people think of Korver now is how Ray Allen was perceived in his last couple yrs. As for the finals record it adds to his greatness imo. Would you rather be 1-0? 2-0? Jerry West went 1-8 in the finals and he's viewed as one of greatest clutch players of all time. It's all about perspective. Poor Lebron. He's only a shade below MJ. What a terrible spot to be in...

Kobe won a finals while averaging 15.6ppg 4.6rebs 4.assists Kobe won a finals after shooting 6/24 Kobe has won despite shooting 42% in the finals during his career. All this means is that Kobe has had great teams and great coaching too. Lebron has always taken rookie head coaches to the finals. As for allstars that's ridiculous. Kobe had some great one's early and always had vet and clutch support. Allstars like Glen Rice and clutch god Robert Horry or defensive stud Ron Harper. Allstars like Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Gasol, Bynum, and Odom! Ron Artest too. Kobe's had a ton of help just like ALL superstars. Go look up Lakers 80s teams featuring Magic and Kareem. Or Bird's Celtics teams. Lebron has beat dynasties (Spurs and Gs). That Okc finals team in 2012 was unreal too. Who did Kobe beat? An injured Celtics squad in 09? Who else??? There's a reason people try to compare Lebron to Jordan. Kobe is in a tier lower than those guys.

Kobe is 5-2....atleast get it right. Big Kobe fan Kobe only got 1 mvp in his career. Also was the best player only 2 times out of his 5 wins. Kobe can take his career finals 42% fg average and relax In 2015 the nba gave Iggy the finals mvp award for kind of attempting to guard Lebron James. Lebron averaged 36ppg 12reb 9assists . Lebron has led weaker teams and beat better competition in the finals than Kobe ever did. Before you bring up all of Lebron's teammates......Shaq was on a different level! The clutch thing is so stupid. All the numbers say his clutch time stats are some of the best ever. But haters mainly like Skip Bayless have led this bs nonsense. How clutch was coming back down 3-1 against the 73 win Warriors? Did you see that block on Iggy?
-
You would take Durant but not Lebron on your team. Oh dear gawd. Nba fans have lost it... And it's not Kobes team. He isn't even the greatest Laker of all time! It's Magic's team. Btw guess who idolizes Earvin....that dude in Cleveland
-
It would be a massive f you to a ton of hockey ppl and fans. Hoping the same.

I hope the Canucks keep him around for a month or so. Even if he only plays the 9 games or whatever he should be around the team.

Hayward to Boston. Cavs in 6.

Yeah yeah I know your not high on Miro. It's okay you'll be wrong -
Lowry and Derozan aren't top 2 kinda guys. Toronto will win a lot games but that Lowry contract is terrible. Why would you pay him so much?? After Minny signed Teague, there was ZERO interest in Lowry. East goes... Cavs Bucks Wiz Sixers Everyone else.

Heiskanen Suzuki Necas Thomas Are the guys everyone's gonna look back at and say should of gone higher imo. Pettersson has potential to be on that list as well. -
They go deep into the tax. The GS owner barely agreed to it
