People were saying the same things about Hughes last year. Both are smart and hard-working players. It sucks to see him struggle so far this year but I have confidence he'll come back motivated next year just like Hughes this year.

Hell of a ride. I'm still quite upset but hey I wouldn't be a fan if I wasn't. It's alright to be disappointed with how things played out. They just ran out of gas. There's so much to be excited for here going forward. We have a lot of good coming our way for a long time. The team from what I've heard sounds disappointed yet excited to get back to work and play next year, which is fantastic to hear. As if these guys needed something else to motivate them to be better. This team has the right core pieces in the essential positions and we just need to find the right pieces to compliment them. One TV analyst say they see a lot of the 2010 Blackhawks in this one team which is high praise, hopefully we have a little of the same success as they did! I'm excited for next year. Go Canucks Go!
