NJD and Boston make more sense than CBJ, CBJ is in it for the long haul, if they wanted JT cuz he's a home town boy they would have done it, but they just gave boudreau all the money they would have given JT, they have the assets to make the trade and then some so would have happened already.

where is NJD in all this lol, they would be the team with the most depth of assets to move and don't have a true rah rah leader in that group

tbh I am very surprised NJD has not acquired JT they have hamilton and a young group of great players so they can compete now, they should end the rebuild now, they also have tons of assets so moving 2-3 would not hurt them at all, they are also stacked on R side D with hamilton, severson and marino, all getting paid a fair amount of money... I would have thought something like severson + Mcleod + 202X 1st or a prospect like Shakir would get it done, they have so many assets - Shakir, sherangovich, mercer, holtz, Seamus Casey, and they got Nemec this draft lol, plus they have the highest brothers which are untouchable as well as hirschier who is coming into his prime, so they have insane depth.... seems strange to me NJD makes the most sense.
