  1. wtf is this effort on a night where they could pull into 2 points of the playoffs and make major headway, c'mon Bo, do something
  2. Myers for Kapanen and Marino ? not saying I would do it, just connecting some dots- rumour Canucks want to move Myers for “cap flexibility” marino is not top pair but this gives us 2 players for price of one…
  3. even better- raddysh, katchouk, or Matheiu Joseph please
  4. also... Schenn playing great again, perfect 7th D man to have for a cup run Motte + Schenn for Cal Foote
  5. Brock Faber - Olympian RHD + Kuapari yes please Brandt Clarke baby- yes please Grans ? Don’t know the guy I doubt Vilardi, Turcotte or Byfield are free but amen to that depth to trade Samuel Ferragamo like the shoe, he’s a great prospect too, JR make it reign
  6. Interesting read from the Penguins blogger on hockeybuzz - yes, take eklund with a grain of salt… their pens blogger proposed : to VAN Marino Rodgrigues (UFA) 2022 1st to PIT Garland that helps us now and in future, so… yes please
  7. Very good point team likely makes playoffs next year - start with Bruce Boudreaux from training camp - hogs, pods better - Petey prob better start to year - Dickinson may be better next year - Hamonic will be in a contract year and will likely be highly committed and give it his best. -JT miller will be in a contract year and giving'er
  8. you forgot to mention - Tyler is a major contributor to the team on and off the ice, - he is fast and brings grit, two way play and many intangibles the Canucks, or any other team would covet. - he is an asset and has a lot of great years in the league ahead of him - (lofty) comparables will be discussed
  9. not exactly gaudy numbers at any point in his career, not that big, maybe he is great defensively, who knows, is he fast?
  10. I think it would be something around Kappanen + marino with perhaps some additional pieces on both sides maybe PIT also wants halak?
  11. not super sexy names but fills many gaps in our organization such as speed, grit (Kapanen), RHD on decent contract (Marino), moves out a bad contract (poolman) and gives us more organizational C depth (Hallnder) I think this is a very realistic move and because it solves a bunch of issues we gain a type of flexibility
  12. if we are giving up a first, switch out gavrikov for sillinger, otherwise we are just giving up the two best assets in a high first and a 1st line player, Domi is a ugh so does not really help us
  13. Story was delorme was adamant about taking Petey and JB listened to him in the OJ draft, they talk was all about Canucks wanting PLD as their top pick but then the dropped in the lottery and PLD went higher up the board than JN thought he would do OJ was plan B chychrun dropped out of top 3 due to concerns about his hockey iq and commitment level to the game if I recall - Canucks praised OJ for his hockey iq on display at WJCs on his. Generational Finnish team with Laine and puljujarvi ? i recall there was a lot of talk how Canucks scouted Mccavoy pretty hard that year and debrincat but had them ranked all wrong
  14. The worst part is that was a super strong draft full of guys that would have helped let me get out my retrospect-o-scope here lol Sergachev and maccavoy lol butvthe first round was very strong and we drafted one of the only duds 2nd and 3rd rounds were good too
  15. IMHO this is the plan all names are out there on the trade market except for Hughes, Demko, Petterson, if PA/JR get an offer that blows their socks off for Miller, they will pull the trigger. If a deal gets offered that makes sense for brock or motte or any other player, I think they do it ahead of TDL. No hurry to move anyone other than motte but I would try to re-sign him. I would move brock in off season if we are in a playoff race, resign miller, and try to get a good young RHD in brock trade, they will probably try to aggressively move halak before tdl. and re-address team in offseason depending on how the rest of the year goes...
  16. NJD has many more interesting pieces than Bahl/zacha: Holtz Mercer Yegor Shakir ty smith miles woods
  17. smith, high pick, not playing awesome, smallish "puck mover," with not a lot of points and bad minus rating for what that is worth.
  18. Miller to LA for Brock Faber, Kuapari 2022 1st, boom Brock + hoglander to NJD for Holtz and 2022 3rd
  19. trading Miller, Garland, Boeser or 2/3 gives a lot of cap flexlibility and they can each return 2 good assets. Miller to LA, COL, NYR, MIN makes a lot of sense Boeser to NJD, DET, LA makes a lot of sense Garland to WSH, LA, Miller + hoglander to NYR for Kappo, 1st, sammy blais, Lundquist Boeser to LA for Kuapari, Brock Faber Garland to DET for Hroneck in offseason leaves a ton of cap to sign one top 6 F to in off season Podz Petey ---big money UFA Pearson Horvat Kappo Motte Kuapari Blais Lockwood Lammi Highmore maybe move the first + Rathbone in off season for shea Theadore who is rumoured to be squeezed out from Vegas Theadore Myers Hughes Hroneck OEL lundquist Schenn
  20. Is hronek RHD 24yr old shy good? I like Brock Faber from LA Boesser to LA for Kupari and Faber that would be amazing
  21. needs to be traded, trade to NJD for Holtz, get cap relief, sign a top 4 d man for the right side in summer or weaponize the cap space, 650 keeps mentioning shea therefore might be available, plays left side, but he would be an amazing add.
