    If Ryan Merkley were to fall to the 2nd round, do we take him or try to move up to the 20th area to take him.

      I don't see him dropping out of the first round.  I don't see the Canucks giving up next year's first round pick since they are hosting the draft.  I also don't see them trading down from 7th OA this year.  So the question would be, what trade would make sense to acquire that pick?

      Isn't Merkley somewhere around the middle or early 20s? I don't see how he would fall that far unless I'm missing something.

      I ask as some say his stock may drop more due to his lack of defensive game. He could just be another Subban and never make it due to his poor plays, so the guy is a risk choice.
