Who knows. Could also ask why the incessant fans/ media’s need to know. Could be as simple as privacy, which he is entitled to, or could be they know if they say one thing, the media will jump on it and ask 1000 more things. Taking away from what the real focus should be. I dunno, I trust the team and the doctors. And respect the privacy if that’s the choice.

As much I have concern for the health and well being of all players, I’m simply not a fan of these types of statements given we know zero about the situation. These guys are competitive professional athletes that want to play, and are in the hands of doctors that have knowledge that are not going to risk their professional reputation to green light someone to play. If anything they are more conservative, putting health FAR before the team’s player composition.

I’ll be taking it in. I don’t watch for the hockey. I just like seeing the camaraderie, interaction, interviews, seeing kids watch and maybe meet their superstars. As much as the games are a little funny, I try to keep in mind what it’s all about.

I hold nothing against the guy and honestly have no feelings about how he left. Mainly because I wanted him gone long before he wanted out. Good player, not ROH material, and just never liked the arrogant, diving, wannabe tuff guy style. Many others far more deserving.

Setting up to be a good night for me. If stars keep aligning we could end up in first and Leafs could be out of a playoff spot.

I’m totally on board with Burke’s take on it that the doors shouldn’t be open during plays. We’ve been jumping over the boards since Peewee (er I mean U12 or whatever it is? Lol). I’m sure these athletes can manage. Would like to see that rule happen.

Disagree here. If the said retaliatory dangerous act serves to reduce future inciting dangerous acts, either through league action on penalizing the careless hits or through people like MT finally getting it and not want to get pummeled again, then I think it’s justified.

For those of us stuck listening to it on the radio on the way home from work, it helps to visualize as if I’m watching. I actually appreciate them saying that for that reason.

I guess I should have added that info. Lol. I am on Telus mobility, and Telus Optik with Sportsnet. So can stream SN on any device. As others have stated, Reddit is also good. I use that for out of market games. And yes, Bilasports is one of my favorites for quality and ease of use.

I was just in Hawaii and was able to stream sportsnet fine. Well, I shouldn’t say 100% fine. When on Wi-Fi, I did have trouble at first and video wouldn’t load. But the workaround for me was to go on cellular first, start watching (for some reason SN was fine on cell), then turn off cellular while streaming so it reverted back to Wi-Fi. In hindsight I would rather it not have worked as I had to watch the loser leafs beat us.
