So wait, people are getting mad that the OWNER of the team was getting involved with team decisions? Think about that for a second.. You guys don't even know what the damn frickin' deal was. Maybe the Pens offered Sutter and a 1st. Gillis was about to accept, cause i don't know he's stupid sometimes, and then Franceso nixed it. Then what? How would you feel? Jeez.

I hope you guys know, Brent Sutter's ceiling is probably a really, really great 3rd line center. A late first rounder means nothing this year. And Derrick Pouliot alone is not worth Ryan Kesler. Thank the heavens Gillis didn't pull the trigger. Hell, people are saying that Pouliot wasn't even apart of the package. Sutter/1st and probably some other crappy prospect is TERRIBLE value.

Farewell to, probably, the greatest goaltender that will ever put on a Canucks jersey. It won't happen (in FLA, anyways), but i seriously hope Luongo can somehow get a cup before his career is done. -

Would definitely prefer Voracek over Simmonds. We need some pure-goal scorers, and Voracek fits that bill better than Simmonds.

Kesler managed to get an assist playing on one leg in the Finals.. Impressive.

If i'm trading TWO of my core players, it better be a damn good return. B. Schenn, L. Schenn, Voracek, Laughton, 1st. Rounder 2014. I'd add one of our prospects to that deal. Hell, i'd add Gaunce.
