  1. My all time favorite song.I also love Keep Shelly in Athens version of this song.
  2. sad to see this forum close, thank you to all who supported it.And thank you SN for the new home
  3. how about 11:59 Sept 30 it will be a mad scramble to check it out before its shut down
  4. I like bringing in players that dreamed of playing for this team.you know they will bring it all when given the chance to play, and will encourage the whole team to try hard until the final whistle.
  5. This management team has shown a willingness to move on from players that are asking for more than the team is willing to pay. Which I agree with. I don't like the idea of one or two players getting 25% of the salary cap.
  6. My answer would be Richard Brodeur. He took us Canuck fans on a magical run.And I don't really care how good other goalies may have been if they aren't on my team.
  7. I don't know for sure but I think we should consider letting fin go at the end of his contract.I think we need a mascot that is quicker above the ice.Speed is more important than brute force.
  8. A train engineer with a so so track record, is operating a train. When he sees 3 children playing on the track. He tries to stop but is unable to stop in time. All the kids are killed. He ends up being charged and convicted for murder,as they thought he should have been able to stop in time. The penalty is execution by electric chair. On execution day he asks for 3 bananas for his last meal. They secure him to the electric chair and flip the switch,he doesn't die.So they try once more, again he doesn't die.So he gets to go free.Years later while walking down the street he is recognized by one of the people on the execution team. This person still amazed by the survival of the electric chair had to ask, what the bananas had to do with him surviving the electrocution. He replies nothing,I'm just a lousy conductor.
  9. I haven't been to any Rangers games in years.Even though I live in Kitchener.I have a hard time supporting them because of their name. But if Hunter is still on their team next year I think I will give it a go and support this young man.Maybe at least go to the teddy bear toss again.
  10. To add to this sometimes players can be mishandled during this period.Such as getting proper ice time, guidance.I just discussed this with a apprentice we have if he is displeased he can move on to an employer that he feels is treating him fairly.Tough luck for these draftees. Lets hope he pulls a Tavares. Oh and to stay on topic welcome to Vancouver Tom.
  11. My thoughts as well.I for one would welcome him back.He might not be hero material but I'm sure he could fill a roll.
  12. What do you get when you throw a million dollars into the wind. A windmill
  13. Is there a picture of this goalie mask I searched but can't find one. I would like to see it.
  14. For me Canucks are the only team. Once they are not in the playoffs I check out of watching hockey. I couldn't care less who wins or loses. I do hope the Canucks are the first team to bring the cup to Canada.
  15. My thoughts exactly. Getting to obsessed with winning the cup can really take the enjoyment of supporting this team. Don't get me wrong I would like to witness the Canucks winning it all.
  16. Your going to the game right. Boo him every chance you get. I hope he's fair in calling the game so it doesn't sour your (and all Canucks fans) evening.
  17. 4-3 Canucks Boeser GWG Boeser final home game goal
  18. That's the thing, it's not always a for sure thing. So many things can alter the development and advancement. Injury, health, family issues can put a twist on development. Since we are out of the playoff race I agree the higher the pick the better. But you just can't predict the outcome of a players development.
  19. That's got to be a thing if he makes it. Like the louing or my favorite Harold for Snepsts.
