  1. Thanks for the report Hairy Kneel. The videos didn't work for me but still a solid read. How can you not be excited for Try. To bad it's Arizona. I will be doing backflips when we can pull out a great detailed report on his plays against the top league teams.
  2. I guess when you pay $500+ mill to join a league you get some benefits side question.... Anyone know what Canucks had to pay in 1970?
  3. Not sure if it's been said but was there a reason Stecher wasn't picked in his draft year?
  4. Keep his positioning and defensive play going well while points low this year. Once he is adjusted to NHL speed etc he can break out next year on offense. Mostly becuase I don't want Vegas claiming him though
  5. Also one of Hansen, Rodin, Gaunce or Gran will most likely be picked up in expansion.
  6. Vegas does have to reach a specific cap hit though don't they? They will not be able to pick all young 1 mil players. Sbisa is young enough and a good bump up towards reaching the cap
  7. Try evolving your 2nd gyrados and getting twister again
  8. Happy to hear Tanev is working on offense. I didn't know Edlers nickname was eagle.
  9. I read that Tanev was getting a shooting coach for the summer too. Can't remember where though.
  10. They are signed to Utica so not technically Canucks prospects. I beleive they could be picked up by other NHL teams who wanted them. Probably not NHL caliber as most are the vets for Utica but occasionally you get a player like Biega who fights the odds.
  11. I would think its bi weekly. From old CBA quotes they say 15th and 30th. If it was a lump sum and the player was suspended without pay he would have to give money back. On my phone so I can't download it but it would probably be here http://www.nhlpa.com/inside-nhlpa/collective-bargaining-agreement
  12. I know nothing is proven until Brock actually plays in the NHL. If he can keep elevating his game, he is the a good example on why you don't always need the #1 pick in a draft.
  13. Vancouver Hockey Lunch.... Let's talk about football.

  14. Boeser: I grew up a Wild fan. Now I’m a Vancouver fan, for sure.

  15. Not a fan of the trade but keep in mind if Granlund was playing with the Sedins I'm sure his # would be better as well also Mccan scored and put up numbers at the beginning and than flatlined for a while. Let's see if Shink can really keep it up next year as well. 5 game sample is small.
  16. First year in the NHL and he has been basically playing 1st line min lately. Probably just starting to slow down. Shouldn't expect him to be a machine. Next year
  17. Vey has a personality of a potatoe. Shink was enthusiastic and basically did back flips on every goal. Not easy shoes to fill but hopefully Granlund can get the crowd pumped up.
  18. Damn can't blame him for the trade. If he scores and has a good attitude and personality, it won't be long before the general fan base loves him.
  19. They may have to with a few of our players not being able to pass waivers next year
  20. delete. Had incorrect information.
  21. He did score 20 goals while mostly playing a 3rd line role. He obviously has a decent shot. If the Sedins can elevate that even more than why not have him on the 1st line. Also if him being a winger opens a spot up for McCann than I'm all for it. I'm sure if the Canucks had Crosby and Malkin in our line up we would laugh to.
  22. That is awesome to hear. Canucks prospects are motivated and our core guys are willing to teach. Do a lot of NHL players practice with their prospects like this?
