i didn't know they got new lighting. I thought it looked different, I figured it was just due to the lack of people there with it being a preseason game.

Maybe the Sabres can trade a few quality light bulbs to the Canucks for a decent goalie. 

Was fortunate enough to be at the game yesterday. It looked like the entire set of arena ice lights were replaced.

The crowd looks darker on TV but it actually felt more or less the same as it did before in person, if not actually a little bit brighter. The ice was definitely lit up brighther than it used to be. Guessing it might be the contrast.

Chicago, Boston, and Washington have all recently implemented similar lighting in their arenas, so I figured it was only a matter of time before the Canucks did the same.
