    We were all happy that those awful contracts were coming of the books next year and guess what Jimbo does goes out and gets a contract that is 10 times worse than Erikkson. Benning bros can’t even defend this. all of this is that cheap pathetically owners fault . He stuck with Jim and Canucks fans are paying the price of an inept band incompetent gm who has no clue in what he is doing. He needed to be fired when this season ended but unfortunately we made that mistake and now are suffering.

      In the original tweet, the Canucks are listed alongside a number of other "frontrunners" including Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, and Pittsburgh Penguins. I literally think it's just a list of teams that have approached his camp to inquire what his asking price is. And obviously our local hockey media ran with it on a slow Canucks news day.

       

      Canucks don't have the cap space to do this. Also it doesn't solve the 3C or Defense questions.
