  1. RDF is way over the top with his projections, but I don't see anywhere in his post that suggests that Juolevi will be better than Dahlin. He's saying that Olli will be better than any Canuck currently on the roster. Am I wrong in thinking that Desiboy got himself a new IP address?
  2. This is the 1st time I'm reading this post and I really don't understand the point of the Twitter poster or by extension why anyone would think Benning hasn't done a good job. I look specifically at the net in and net out columns and I wonder how someone could come to the conclusion that the list on the left is better than the list on the right. For one thing there's a bunch of free agents in the out column. Players who only Aqualini could take exception to , considering he's the one paying their salaries. Put it this way. Say we're in some bizarre fantasy league and I offered you all of the players on the left for the players on the right. Would you do it? I sure would. Quantity of assets is a weak argument to have Benning fired. Just hire an assistant who understands the cap and contract negotiation a bit better and allow Benning to keep building the broken team that he inherited.
  3. It's the one issue that is going to decide the election in 2020. Left wingers are advocating full-term abortions. Governor Cuomo has already approved of it. Can you imagine a baby being born and then killed post-birth? It's law now and it could become a more widely expressed idea.
  4. Same. I don't have anyone on my list. You need to address the thread or else it becomes a personal attack. I get that you hate Roseanne, even though didn't watch the video. Here's a question for you. Do you believe in the beliefs of Margaret Sanger?
  5. Feel free to add me to your ignore list. That's what people do when they have no argument or any sort of logic to debate your facts. Let's debate! Nah I'll just ignore you.... Hey great point.
  6. Strawman. Why is that useless material in quotes?
  7. @SabreFan1I put those videos from another site to this one. Your bias is against anything Roseanne Barr has to say, instead of actually listening to a discussion, you have put yourself in a box. There's no conversation that could come from your point of view.
  8. Obviously you didn't watch the videos. That's fine and you're allowed to respond to headlines. Don't tell the mods what they should be offended by.
  9. So now what are disagreeing with? TDS is a real thing. Trump derangement makes me sad. When I hear Candace say the same things, I get more educated.
  10. AWESOME!. Listen to everyone and figure out your own position. I identify with Shapiro, because he makes the most sense to me. I'm not espousing a political point of view but I'm saying HEY LOOK AT THIS! Don't you see the hypocrisy in saying all dissenters are saying the same thing?
  11. Margaret Sanger. The most deplorable human EVER!
  12. Who do you endorse as a personal question. It obviously doesn't deserve or require an answer.
  13. So you watched the video then? I thought not.
  14. Your views are more libertarian then and I am firmly on board with that. I just need to consider all points of view. Owens is my favorite activist by a long shot.
  15. That's a bias that would exclude you from listening to anything that would contradict your narrative. She has a platform and it puts her on a level with Alysa Milano. I just agree with the message.
  16. How good is this? All of it. 'Butthead chuckle' Let me throw this one by you. 'Butthead chuckle' I guarantee it!
  17. I'd love it if he took the jump. Recent reports have him talking to his advisors after the season ends to see if he wants to turn pro. I'd also love Rathbone to consider the AHL route. All of the 'get your degree to fall back on' is nonsense. These guys are trying to go pro as soon as they can. Madden is a 2nd generation player with exceptional speed and skill who has wow'd us all in his D+1 season. Rathbone is another exceptional skating D-man who has the physical ability to step into pro hockey next season... plus he has a special needs brother who the money could help. Guys like these aren't waiting until their 4th year of NCAA hockey to cash in, nor should they. They should be looking to do it immediately. The AHL schedule is 3 games a week and there's lots of time for the gym and developing ones game. It's the next progression as far as leagues go. I understand the value of a degree, but would you rather pursue your hockey dream and go back to school in your late 20's or 30's, OR hold out to your senior year and risk a setback like an injury. These young guys all need to play pro hockey as soon as possible.
  18. Benning doesn't make roster decisions though. If the playoff race comes down to the last couple of games and Hughes is a major player down the stretch drive, would Green keep him out of the lineup? I get the feeling that Green is pretty much an assistant GM at this point and that he is being involved in the roster decisions more than most coaches would be. But is that a decision that needs to be made between the management group? or is Green going to have that call? It's a hypothetical, but it's something that has a small chance of happening.

  20. I know Sid has been saying that, but every other pundit is saying it's 10 games. I'd still like to know definitively what that rule is, because 10 games is manageable if we want to keep him under that number, but he will for sure get 1 game.
  21. https://mgoblue.com/schedule.aspx?path=mhockey March 2 is their last game and they're not going to the Frozen Four tournament. *Edit. They still play in the Big Ten tourney after that so it's not certain when his season will end. it could be as early as Mar 8-10. and Mar 23 is the championship game if they make it that far. https://bigten.org/documents/2019/2/5//2019_B1G_HKY_Tournament_Bracket_Blank.pdf?id=6270 https://www.nhl.com/canucks/schedule/2019-03-01/PT

  23. No that guy is on some hard stuff. Pot wouldn't make someone say what he did. If Guddy played to his potential he might have a point, but a giant pylon is as easy to walk around as a small one.
