      If he had 0 goals in 35 games. Sure I would be disappointed. Once he steps up and drops the mitts with someone we will all love him. He is signed to a cheap contract for his production. No problems here.

      The traffic was pretty intense for sure.  The rink looks around 2/3s full. A lot of people standing above the grand stands.

       

      The jerseys are really hard to read from the opposite ends of the ice. All the goalies are wearing the gray jerseys too.

    After mulling it a bit, I wonder??

     

    - If team was destined to drop(pick 2019 high) this seems to ensure that, eh?

    - MDZ & Pouliot seem write-offs. But their existence ensures young hopefuls aren't embarrassed/can develop 1 more yr in Utica. So that 4 mill(expiring) isn't truly wasted

    - gives us a chance to see if BHutt is actually worth investing hopes/some term

    - We know QH & OJ should be in next yr.

    -If Hutton falls apart, we can offer Edler a coupla' more yrs(reasonably)

    -Finally, if Edler returns(playing well again) & the team rebounds a bit. Then we should demand more(TDL) if he's willing..& it'll be justifiable too.

      It might just be. It highlights his value to the hockey team and gives young guys a chance to play. Not to mention Del Zotto gets to wear an A and boost his value for a potential deadline deal as a #7. I would take a 4th for Disaster Del Zotto right now.

      Thanks. :D Yeah, I am curious how many quality guys end up on waivers. I think we could see quite a few surprises on there this season. I just hope Jim can make a trade or two on some of the more valuable guys like Granlund, Goldobin, and what not. We have an exciting pre-season and training camp ahead. I am ecstatic. :D

      Thanks Alf.  I didn't include Sutter tho I'm sure he could of been warranted. The fact we turned down offers at the TDL tho I have to think we keep him unless we get an upgrade elsewhere in the lineup.

       

      This off season is gonna be fun :)

      That or he is scared of being dealt and is pretending to be hurt so no one takes him.  Better not be the case.  Issue with Marky tho is the term.  Gotta find a buyer who wants 2 more yrs after this season. He would be perfect for backing up Cam Talbot if you ask me.  Let them duke it out.

    Now is the perfect time for the Sabres to trade Reinhart if they were/are planning to.  In the last 10 games, he has even slightly outperformed Eichel who himself is having a very good year.
