  1. Okay. I found more info on Mukhamadullin on HF boards lol. Thank you NJ fans lol Year 1 ^ All-time u19 defensemen in the KHL: and 14 games into his u19 season. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I am feeling this pick :D I only really watched his video footage and heard a few things about him on the radio. very impressed with this pick. I definitely saw a potential top pair D one day but this kid is definitely increasing my confidence in him as a potential #1 D. He's a long shot but he's off to a great start!
  2. I hope we trade his rights for a 2021 pick. Let's recoup some value.
  3. STL Draft Recap: 5th Overall - Lucas Raymond (4 Overall to DET +1) 9th Overall - Yarolsav Askarov (11th Overall to NSH -2) 11th Overall - Jack Quinn (8th Overall to BUF +3) 25th Overall - Hendrix Lapierre (22nd Overall to WSH +3) 72nd Overall - Theodor Niederbach (51st Overall to DET + 21) 73rd Overall - Thimo Nickl (104th Overall to ANA -31) 103rd Overall - Artur Akhtyamov (106th Overall to TOR -3) 108th Overall - Linus Karlsson [Drafted in 2018] Very happy with our draft class overall. Definitely added some high end guys at the top of the draft. Loved our mid to late adds in Neiderbach, Nickl, Artur and Linus. We definitely did a lot of work this off-season and are excited for what lies ahead! STL is still actively looking for a younger top 6 C and am willing to pay a reasonable rate for one. Our only really big faller this draft was Thimo but we believe his skill will show our selection be about right one day in the future. Happy drafting folks! :D
  4. NJ Draft Recap: 8th Overall - Yaroslav Askarov (G) (11th OA to NSH -2) 19th Overall - Kaiden Guhle (D) (16th OA to MTL +3) 38th Overall - Ridly Greig (LW/C) (28th OA to OTT +10) 39th Overall - Ozzy Wiesblatt (RW) (31st OA to SJ +9) 122nd Overall - Jacob Dion (D) (Undrafted - Hopefully next year!) 127th Overall - Artur Akhtyamov (G) (106th OA to TOR +21) Via Trade - Amir Miftakhov (G) (186th OA to TB) 3 Goalies in one draft ant to shabby. Got 2 solid forwards we like and a top 4 D we think may have some top pair upside. #Stoked!
  5. We did well. Only 4 players were selected that were not taken in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Dmitri Rashevsky (NSH) Pick 62 (GML) Simon Kubicek (PHI) Pick 123 (GML) Theo Rochette (TB) Pick 108 (GML) Pavel Gogolev (VGK) Pick 82 (GML) Some of these guys will get a another crack at it next season. Very surprised to see Rochette fall so hard off the map. Happy to see Pashin finally get selected at pick 199. The gml draft database is updated ( i believe fully - if you see any errors let me know).
  6. Some scouts had Jurmo and Wallander hand in hand as the 2 best D from that region. Good value in round 3 since Wallander went at 1st in the 2nd round. That was according to JD burke.
  7. Stocking the cupboards with some D. me likey.
  8. They said on the NHL network. An Alex Edler type D man. One can only hope. Oh it says that above this msg LOL
  9. Tony better be willing to take a cheap contract if he wants to stay in van. lol. 1.5M x 2 les go
  10. i honestly thought they would package him with their pick to move up to take askarov. never happened.
  11. They are great at player development. LA keeps adding talent it's getting scary
  12. We probably didn't offer him for a second. Jim wanted a hockey trade if we moved Jake. Ie player for player
  13. oh and if u hover over the "own pick or via trade" it shows which teams pick was used. kinda fun i just learned Ivan Morozov who I acquired this off-season was actually drafted with CBJ's 2018 4th round pick lol. happy to bring him where he belongs :D
  14. ^ If you see any errors - please let me know. Team tabs on bottom show individual team results.

  16. St Louis' NHL/CDCFL ROUND 1 DRAFT RESULTS: (1-31) 4) LUCAS RAYMOND - FRÖLUNDA (SHL) (Drafted by Rush17 - 5th OA) 0 8) JACK QUINN - OTTAWA (OHL) (Drafted by Rush17 - 13th OA) +2 11) YAROSLAV ASKAROV - ST. PETERSBURG (VHL) [Drafted by Rush17 - 9th OA] -2 22) HENDRIX LAPIERRE - CHICOUTIMI (QMJHL) [Drafted by Rush17 - 25rd OA] +3 We are very excited to welcome Lucas, Jack, Yaroslav, and Hendrix to the organization. We are thrilled to see them get drafted to the teams they did today. We are optimistic each one of them will be useful contributors for us for years to come! We look forward a fun and strong draft class in Day 2. We are excited to see if Theodor Niederbach, Thimo Nickl, and Artur Akhtyamov also are blessed with the ability to put on an NHL jersey! Loads of fun ahead! Can't wait for 8:00am tomorrow morning! Thanks @Master Mind and crew for hosting such a fun event!
  17. Very happy to welcome Kaiden and Shakir to our organization. We are very happy with their landing spots moving forward. We took a risk taking Shakir at 65 as a lot of pro scouts aren't sure if he will pan out. He certainly is a boom or bust D but when we saw him sliding to us we knew we had to keep our pick and make the selection! Good to have another NHL franchise agree with my assessment and think so highly of him. I definitely thought he had high upside when we drafted him but seeing him go 20th OA was even a bit of a shock to us. We were honestly expecting him to go around 24-35. So this a welcomed surprise lol. Guhle in MTL is exciting - we know he will be developed properly and be given every chance to succeed. Our hope is he returns to Jr next season and gets some additional XP under his belt. Shakir is doing great in the KHL this season and we hope he takes this year and next to refine his game before coming over to our farm team. NJ is a fantastic landing spot for him we feel. They will work with him and turn him into a solid defender I am sure. The ceiling is high for both of these players and we hope to see them one day dawning Blue Jacket jerseys!
  18. New Jersey's NHL/CDCFL ROUND 1 DRAFT RESULTS: (1-31) 11) YAROSLAV ASKAROV - ST. PETERSBURG (VHL) [Drafted by Rush17 - 9th OA] -2 28) RIDLY GREIG - BRANDON (WHL) [Drafted by Rush17 - 38th OA] +10 31) OZZY WIESBLATT - PRINCE ALBERT (WHL) [Drafted by Rush17 - 39th OA] +8 Very happy with Day 1 of the FL Draft. All of our selectees went to programs we feel will be strong when we are ready to compete. Very thrilled to get Ridly and Ozzy late in the 1st. We know draft position does not dictate NHL success but it is encouraging seeing guys we felt were First Round talent get taken in the first round. We had Greig rated as the 26th best skater in the draft and Ozzy the 29th! Askarov landing in Nashville is a blessing knowing he will go to a good defensive system. Fingers crossed their can sort out their forward issues before he comes in 2-3 years. Thanks to @Nail again for hosting the FL draft last week! We look forward to Day 2 where we hope to see Jacob Dion and Artur Akhtyamov get the opportunity to dawn NHL jerseys! Cheers all!
  19. Thats a wrap on Day 1. Bright and early tomorrow! 8 AM PST
