  1. It happens really fast. What do we get five minutes between picks it's agonizing with the time limit. It's fun tho
  2. Pick 15 is on the block for a cheap ELC nhl ready prospect or to move up into top 12.
  3. Michael Rasmussen (81) - Jack Eichel (90) - Elias Lindholm (86) Brady Tkachuk (84) - Cody Glass (82) - Joe Pavelski (86) Victor Rask (78) - Drake Batherson (81) - Calle Jarnkrok (80) Zack Kassian (81) - Cedric Paquette (78) - Austin Czarnik (78) Brady Skjei (86) - Shea Theodore (83) Brayden McNabb (82) - Mike Green (85) Sebastian Aho (78) - Julius Honka (81) Henrik Lundqvist (86) Anton Khudobin (82) on the fringe: Alex Fomentation (78), Toby Reider (78), Sheldon Dries (76). TRADES THE DETAILS Update: 19 Game Mark (7-11-1) Moved out Rasmussen for Peyton Krebs. Needed a bottom six winger who had good puck control that could chip in a tiny bit of offence. Alex Formenton has all but saved our season lol. He got the call up due to injury and lite the league on fire with 4 goals and 2 assists in his first contest alongside Joe Pavelski and Elias Lindholm. He got called up when Eichel started to experience back spasms. We currently have Brady and Skjei out with concussions as well as top prospect Mikko Vallin who re-injured his abdominal muscles. I guess the key is don't put them into the lineup until fully healthy lol. Lines when healthy now are: Formenton - Eichel - Lindholm Brady - Pavelski - Glass Krebs - Jarnkrok - Batherson Clifford - Paquette - Kassian Theodore - Green Skjei - Honka McNabb - Braun King Hank Kubodbin Parsons We moved Theodore back to the top pair and have reaped the rewards since. We hope he can grow into that elite transition D. Parsons we picked up in our deal for Lindholm. He is our 3rd goalie up with the club. We gave him his first start last game and he looked phenomenal. We are going to pick and choose starts for him. If he continues to impress we may give him the backup role. In all likelihood tho we move him down to the A to replace Poulin. We have our stud D prospect Hornquist also in the A he has a .954 sv% in 4 games. Our AHL club is 14-5-0. our AHL club is 10-1-0 in their last 11 games. We might actually have an outside chance at the playoffs. We outshot the leafs 39-28 two games ago - we could not solve Anderson until late in the 3rd. Brady got a PPG followed by a great individual effort in his next shift where he went to the net from the side boards and roofed it. Eichel managed to tie it forcing OT but we after a few close calls in OT we lost it in the shootout. Depth may be our biggest problem moving forward tho. Aside from the key guys with the big club we don't have a lot of NHL ready guys to step in. I will look to add more depth in the coming days. Oh and LAK claimed Victor Rask (78 OA) and his 4M contract off waivers lol. Sad but happy moment. Rask has been a big leader on the team but shedding that salary without paying an asset is a real blessing for our club. Lots to do - Not sure if I want to remove Poulin after the clubs played so well in front of him. May rock a 3 goalie tandem for a bit to see where Parsens is at. He is only a 73 OA which concerns me. He may end up being trade bait but if he can help bridge the gap to our youth that would be fantastic. Gustavsson whom we traded to NYI in the Skjei/Panarin deal has a .953 SV% in the NHL in 3 games played. He is also a 73 OA. Just an interesting side note for a guy we traded.
  4. I know there was some discussion on this last time around. We will get that all sorted in the future - so let's keep this civil . But for tonight victory let us add the Nashville Predators to the GML Championship Wall of fame! Congrats to both @Sergei Bobrovsky and @Azzy for going up on this wall of fame. Great seasons and playoffs from both of you! It is great to see some of the young talent out West starting to make a rise. Congrats to you and everyone involved in these play-in/playoffs! Sorry to those of you on the outside looking in. I'm sure it's been a boring few months around here. We look forward to a fun and exciting 2020-21 Season whenever that may start! 6. If there were a GML Conn Smythe Trophy it would be award to Nikita Kucherov with his 190 PTs this postseason!

  10. Tanev is signed for 4 more years at an AAV lower then he will likely sign for in the NHL this offseason. I think you did ok lol. Chris Tanev isn't no Mike Komisarek
  11. Sad to see you go Greens. I hope you and your family stay safe! Hope to see you back around here in the near future! The Bruins are going to be hurting without @greensman at the helm. Have an enjoyable time off!
  12. Craig Smith is the exact type of player that's gonna feel the squeeze due to the flat cap. The Leafs should use the flat cap as an excuse to move one of their highly paid forwards.
  13. Fleury or Holtby would both be interesting. Can’t see Holtby wanting to be exposed tho if he’s going to free agency. Fleury is probably more likely but I don’t see Vegas retaining salary or us being able to accommodate that cap hit beyond 2020-21. perhaps a Greiss or dobin makes more sense
  14. Virtanen to Boston fits the next gen can Neely fleecing storyline. Easy low hanging fruit imo.
  15. Staal keeping Markys crease clear makes sense if they go that direction. Good value for both clubs in the staal deal
  16. Very pleased with our 2020 Draft Results. Got some quality guys early on with our first four picks, followed by two longer shots in the latter 3rd, early 4th. To NJD: Pick 8 (Yaroslav Askarov , G) To NJD: Pick 19 (Kaiden Guhle , D) To NJD: Pick 38 (Ridley Greig , LW) To NJD: Pick 39 (Ozzy Wiesblatt , RW) To NJD: Pick 122 (Jacob Dion , D) To NJD: Pick 127 (Artur Akhtyamov , G) We look forward to a fun 2020-21 Season whenever that may start! Wishing both teams in the finals all the best. Thank you @Nail and crew for running such a smooth draft! Amazing we may finish the draft before the playoffs conclude. Thanks to all the GMs who reached out to make trades!

  18. I'd love a cernak but I don't see how they would move him even with the rumblings.
  19. Good news for NJ. He will be a rental at or before the trade deadline.
  20. The cup is in the building.. Will it be won tonight?
  21. Does anyone know the record for most points by a player or set of players ever in a GML playoff? Kuch, Point, and Serg have a combined 449 points for Nashville.

  23. STL is currently out of picks but is looking to acquire 1 or 2 more in the 4th round. We have 1 deal in place to move up and are looking for another! Or even a 3rd if possible. Hit us up if you have one you may not wish to use!
