  1. Congrats to NJ prospect Yaroslav Askarov on being named KHL Player of the Week! This week Yaroslav played in 3 KHL games recording 0.74 GAA and a 0.978 SV%. Congrats Yaroslav! Keep up the great work!

  3. NJ would like to welcome JVR to Devils. We have been looking for a veteran forward to help mentor our kids and we feel JVR is well suited for the role. He first hand has experienced and ups and down of being a high pick. His wealth of experience and competent play will bode well for our franchise. We are happy to add a quality 40 point scorer on a playoff team. He has averaged around 30 goals a season the 3 years prior to the shortened 2019-20 season. We are confident in the right environment and with the linemates he can maintain a 25-30 goal pace for the remainder or his contract. Welcome to NJ JVR. You are a welcome addition to our young squad. We will explore adding 1 more veteran in free agency as we look to get our team prepared for the 2020-21 season. Thanks @ActionJax09 for the productive trade talks. We wish Perry well in free agency!
  4. STL 2020 1ST ROUND - PUCK LEAGUE DRAFT CLASS Lucas Raymond (5) - Yaroslav Askarov (9) - Jack Quinn (11) - Hendrix Lapierre (25) SHL Frölunda HC KHL SKA St. Petersburg Ottawa 67's Chicoutimi Saguenéens WJC 2019 WJC 2019 WJC 2020 WJC TBD Very happy to welcome Lucas, Yaroslav, Jack, and Hendrix to the Blues organization. All four of these guys are character kids who we believe have the potential to be very impactful NHL players in the future. Lucas we had 3rd on our draft board so landing him at 5 was a thrill! Yaroslav is an elite goaltending prospect with the potential to be a franchise goaltender. Having him slide to us at 9 was a revelation. We have been a big fan of Jack over the last few months and he has climbed up our draft board. We immediately engaged in trade talks following our 9th selection to try and move up. Thankfully we found a trade partner for pick 11 and we were able to select him! As we were preparing for the second round late in the first we saw Hendrix was slipping and saw an opportunity to move up to acquire him in another big deal. We capitalized on that opportunity and are so pleased to have Hendrix join us. Lapierre has had some health issues (neck/concussion) similar to Sidney Crosby had a few years back. Injuries have been a hurtle but we believe he is a Top 15 talent who lost ground due to injuries. There is no guarantee he will pan out but at 25 the risk is worth the potential reward. We have 2 x 3rds and a 4th remaining. We may opt to move the picks or keep them. It has been undetermined at this stage. We would love to move up to a high 3rd but we shall see what unfolds here over the next dozen or so picks. Thank you to the exec staff @Master Mind @Jaku @thejazz97 @Salter for hosting this event. This has been a blast!

  18. Welcome to the GML Cup Finals! We have seen 22 teams eliminated up to this point. We now enter the finals of what has been a historic playoffs and here we see two new faces in the finals. Last season the Vancouver Canucks won the GML Cup after a long grueling series. The architect behind that team has returned as the GM of the Red Wings and has quickly turned that franchise into a Cup contender. The sleepy Nashville Predators who finished 23rd in the League last season now sit as the favorites heading into these finals. It is truly remarkable how fast these GML teams can become contenders. These finals will mark the conclusion of GML's 11th Fantasy Season here on CDC! It is a pleasure to be here with you all. Lets bring you some GML Finals Coverage!
