  1. He's been all but invisible minus the one early shot last game. Curious what is alling him.
  2. We will realize how we need Tof as the playoffs move forward. Especially with the loss of myers. We would be in a better spot with both him and Boes in the lineup. I hope he's ready soon!
  3. He was doing plenty of cross checking on day 1 of last falls training camp lol. The only guy on the ice showing bite lol
  4. I hope they surprise with a Demmer start. Only if he gives us a fighting chance tho! lol
  5. Virtanen might become the superior player though if he continues his trend. TOR needs size with their speed. Virt could be a 35-40 goal scorer in his prime - he would excel in Toronto's system imo.
  6. The Leafs will want size and speed in their bottom six. I could see them being all over a guy like Virtanen. Is there anything they have that we might want up front though?
  7. Fielding offers on Pick #13 (Pick 13 of Round 1) Pick #32 (Pick 1 of Round 2) ----------------------------------------------------------- Pick #TBD (Pick x of Round 2) Pick #TBD (Pick x of Round 2) Looking to make young upgrades to my squad. If you have an excess of young talent and / or are worried about the expansion draft - reach out! Happy to to talk business - Also have 's 2nd Round Pick in 2021.
  8. Jake keeps taking penalties tho lol. Close to one a game since drawing into the line up.
  9. Benn brings bite. But he also takes a fair amount of penalties when his feet aren't moving. I'm worried about his ability to keep up with the game. I wouldn't be surprised if Jake sits tonight. Maybe green keeps him in and tells him to hit hard. Jake would play better if he put his physicality first in some areas of the ice. He still has to be open for breakout passes but a hit or a run out each shift shouldn't be to difficult if he isn't pinned in his own end. Contact of any kind would work it doesn't have to always be a bone crusher.
  10. Morning after, Nightly Update: Updated stats this morning for last nights totals. Only 1 change which is surprising. VAN gained 8 additional points furthering their lead over ANA moving from a +58 to a +66.
  11. I'm not liking our odds with myers out. Edler and Tanev are going to get broken down if green overplays them. Jordie Benn played hard and physical at the start of training camp in sept. He brought nastiness and a hard edge then. Let's hope he can sub in or green needs let the new 6 D get some actual minutes
  12. We are going to struggle to disrupt their cycle without myers size on every other shift. He's like an e brake if your struggling with ur sticks his size can break up the cycle. Hope we get better calls after all the messed up calls including the hit from behinds on both Sutter and myers
  13. I have to ask. I am about 55 games into my play along nhl 20 season. Thomas Chabot is due for his first raise out of ELC. His first ask at the start of the year was 8.4M per year for 4 years. I figured maybe his ask would come down in the off-season. He leads the league in hits but only has 29 pts in 48 games played but... he is asking now for 10.5M x 4 years and if I want to sign him to 6 years its 12M or 8 years its 13M per season!!!!!! What the hell is wrong with Thomas Chabot lol. Do you guys have any suggestions for getting his cap hit lower? or is the best option to trade him? I am hella confused and he isn't worth nearly what he's asking for lol. Rasmus Andersson is asking for 4.5M x 3 and a 78 oa Julius Honka wants 4.8M over 4 years. I paid Honka even tho his oa doesn't fit the pay. I figured tho his skating and offensive instincts are fun to play with and he's got good agility. Maybe he can grow into that contract. Rasmus is probably worth it even tho he is an 80 oa still but Thomas Freaking Chabot???? What the hell is this kid smoking. I offered him 8.5 x 6m when his asking price was 8.8 he obviously said no lol. So to stick it too him with his 13m dollar request over 8 years i low-balled him at 8.5M LOL. Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks for helping resolve this situation. The kid is out of his freaking mind.
