Hadn't thought much of it. But we saw bits of it vs Colorado this or last year. It worked extremely well in its limited sample size. Bo adds a power forward feel to it. Follow that with a Ferland/Pearson - Miller - Tof line we'd be hard to contain.

EAST ROUND ROBIN EAST ROUND ROBIN #1 NEW JERSEY WASHINGTON #2 #1 VANCOUVER WINNIPEG #2 17 Points 37 Points 71 Points 16 Points VS VS #3 DETROIT FLORIDA #4 #3 ARIZONA NASHVILLE #4 33 Points 23 Points 36 Points 23 Points So after Day 1 and 2 we have WSH leading the east in points followed by DET, FLA, then NJ. In the west we have VAN lapping the field ahead of ARZ, NSH, and then WPG. Lots of storylines heading into game too. Aho is garnering a lot of points today for ARZ. So far it looks like a 2 horse race in each conference. It is a scary thought NJ and WPG both could theoretically be 4th seeds in their division going up against whomever the 5th seed may be in each respective conferences. Fun times ahead! In the EAST play-in we have 2 very close series between BUF/CAR and CBJ/PIT with only 1 and 2 points separating the clubs. Out west there is a bit more separation with a 9 point gap between STL/LAK and a 10 point gap between COL/SJS. There is a high octane match going on between Boston and Philly out east where the score is 63-50 for PHI. The biggest point gap is out west between ANA/CGY where ANA leads 59-34 (a 25 point lead). We are in for some fun matches in day 3! OUTDATED

The one player I am slightly disappointed in is Bo. But this is his second ever playoffs and this is an entirely different style team then the one he faced vs calgary. I think Bo and boes need a new linemate. I'm sticking with the move pearson to the third line narrative. I think we will see more from bo then.

I would trade Gaudette before Virtanen imo. Virt's the type of guy you win championships with. Speed, physicality, with a good shot. That is ideal in your middle 6 if you are a contender. Imagine Jake being utilized on a team like the Blues or Caps.. Team composition is the issue not Jake. He needs to mature up sure but moving him wont solve our issues.

Yeah I wasn't upset by any means. I loved Petey was battling but it took him a bit longer then I thought it would to refocus. The game started off rough and tumble though so I can see why he was distracted by being constantly cross checked and slashed lol. You don't win Swedish MVP titles in a Championship run if you can't play when its hard. the NHL playoffs are obviously another level but he will navigate it pretty quick.
