Another sneaky good move moose. Our potential first round matchup could be fun. Now we all just have to wait to see where the chips will fall.

Really good pickup @da.moose

Columbus is winding down. A few trade discussions are currently open ended. Will be disconnecting and heading to bed in 30. Wish to continue talks, pm me before I go. Best of luck all. Been fun talking trades.

Report: Forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been seen arriving at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. Interesting findings as the Canes and Blue Jackets are not set to play until next Friday. #whatisgoingon

CBJ has added a top 9 forward to its group. We are still exploring options to add a top 6 forward.
-
If you have a top 6 forward for sale let me know. Looking to add a top 9 at the very least.
-
CBJ is fielding offers but plans to remain inactive tonight. We will continue discussions late tomorrow afternoon through to the end the Canucks game. Will be crashing early tomorrow. We are happy with the additions we have made. If we can make a few more we would be happy to do so. We are targeting a Top 6 Forward and a 3rd Line Forward if possible. PM us if you wish to engage in a convo. When healthy, our playoff lineup will be something like Anton Roussel Pierre-Luc Dubois Elias Lindholm Jeff Skinner David Krejci Patrick Marleau Yanni Gourde Tyler Bozak Brandon Tanev Kyle Clifford Tyler Ennis Jake Virtanen Sam Girard Brett Pesce Travis Sanheim Nikita Zadorov Ryan McDonagh Chris Tanev Justin Braun Robin Lehner Scratch: Ryan Hartman Open to offers on Zacha, Hartman, Puljujarvi, Tanev, Braun, and possibly even Skinner. No guarantees we make sizable moves but we will consider our options. Definitely not a lot of activity tonight. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

NJ places a claim on Matthew Highmore. Not sure where we are in the claim order but I like this kid.
-
CBJ is also exploring trade options on Chris Tanev and possibly even a highly talented forward out of the New York state region. With extensions to Girard and Sanheim already in place; and an extension for Zadorov needed for next season we will be cutting salary either at the draft or this TDL. At the moment we are looking to mix up the complexion of our team. Get more balance for what we hope is a long playoff run.

Just Braun has provided his Trade List: If you are possibly interested in his services for a cheaper salary playoff defender shoot me a msg. He has 2 years left at 4.25M (open to rental player) Team List: Bruins Flames Hurricanes Avalanche Oilers Panthers Predators Islanders Rangers Senators Blues Lightning Canucks Capitals Jets

Roster space created. McDonagh put on IR as per PM.

CBJ welcomes Ryan McDonagh! It is a pleasure to announce we have acquired Ryan McDonagh from the Anaheim Ducks late last night. Ryan is a phenomenal defender who we feel can help us compete in the difficult eastern conference playoff bracket. The team has also traded C/RW Jeff Carter to the Colorado Avalanche for Nick Seeler, Casey Fitzgerald, and so much needed roster space. We have received word from our Doctors Brett Pesce may be out long term. He has yet to be put on IR and likely will not. So the addition of McDonagh comes at a great time. Pesce is reviewing of his options and may opt to have surgery to repair his right shoulder. We remain active in trade talks and are exploring options to add to our Top 9 forward group. It has been reported the team has been shopping 22 year old C/LW Pavel Zacha who has close to a half a point per game this season. The team is also believed to be sending feelers out on Forwards Ryan Hartman and Star Prospect Jesse Puljujarvi. Nick Seeler and Casey Fitzgerald are also believed to be available as sweeteners in a deal.

based off of "reverse standings" hence not eligible for playoff teams. Just to clarify.

GML Deadline Quickly Approaches! The GML Entry Draft is fast approaching as teams begin to load up for the upcoming playoff stretch. No 1st Round Picks have been moved in the last several months but 10 first round picks have already switched hands leading up to the 2020 Trade Deadline. It makes one wonder how many more first rounders could be in play? or are all the 1st's in play all that will be moved? We have seen several future second and third round picks moved in recent deals involving players like Anton Roussel, Richard Panik, and Braydon Coburn to name just a few. Minnesota contains the largest war chest of Draft Picks heading into the 2020 Draft. The team currently holds 2 first round picks, with a 3rd on the way. As the Wild are set to receive one of CBJ's remaining Firsts in the Samuel Girard deal. As it stands now Minnesoda could hold three First Round Picks in the top half of the first round, A pretty impressive feat. The Vegas Golden Knights also hold a large collection of First Round Picks including 1 early and 3 in the latter half of the first round. Teams will be looking to load up in the coming days and we have seen some early moves by some of the leagues playoff hopefuls. With 9 firsts traded from the original owners now.. how many more will we see? you tell us! Some contenders have yet to load up and it should be an interesting run to the finish line as the teams vy for playoff spots! Several spots are still contested by only a few hundred points. There is definitely room for several teams outside the current wildcard spots to make a splash. With tight races in Pacific and Atlantic we might see some fireworks. We will see what teams go for it or hang back for the elusive chance to draft a potentially generational forward in Alex Lafreniere. The air is brisk and seas are calm. I am excited to see where this trade deadline leads! Special thanks to #77. We wish you well on the west coast. You will be missed. A true leader.

Nice add @Primal Optimist .Korpi to the rescue!

CBJ has made three acquisitions leading up to the TDL. Unfortunately we are unable to make any more moves until we know our cap situation. Still need Clifford to be transferred over on pickup from the February 18th trade. I look forward to getting his points added to our totals!

WAIVERS: NJ waives Thomas Schemitsch. WAIVERS: NJ waives Gustav Bouramman. WAIVERS: NJ waives Mark Friedman. WAIVERS: NJ waives Anthony Louis.

NJ is going to waive some prospects later today. They are all pending RFA's who we have no interest in re signing. We wanted to do right by them and allow other teams to incorporate them into their farm teams. Feel free to claim any or all of them that you wish.
-
Report: It is believed the New Jersey Devils may explore options for Dylan Strome (22) and Robbi Fabbri (24) in the off-season. Strome is a pending RFA who has 171 FL points so far this season. Fabbri has 3 years left at 3.75M and has collected 156 points to date this season. We may see some activity from New Jersey later this year at the CDCFL Entry Draft.

We are extremely pleased with our Trade Deadline here in New Jersey. The team was filled with bloated and less then desirable contracts throughout. We took some steps today to help relieve the organization of those contracts and freed up close to 14 million in dead salary off of our books. In the process we were able to completely remodel our blueline by adding two young stud defenders in Travis Sanheim and Shayne Gostisbehere. We were also able to add a promising young checking forward in Ryan Hartman who we feel will help us in our long term future. We are excited for what these moves mean to our franchise and the flexibility they will provide us as we head into the draft and eventually the off-season.
