We asked for long term to test the agents metal. 3 years was the max term under consideration which imo is pretty realistic. We wanted him to show committment to the franchise and he did that by doing a three year bridge. I suspect he will eventually iron things out and earn a sizable raise in three years time.

It's common among all the fantasy groups on CDC that I've been apart of. It seems to work for keepers. I think the idea is the bonusing is included. This typically gives the prospect their full salary with all bonuses paid in advance. It probably isn't the most realistic but it is the most practical from a league management side. Having to manually edit all ELC bonuses across the league would be way to time consuming and there is no way to know if the player will hit the target at the start of the season. I believe that's why. I could be wrong that's my interpretation.

He is expected to be a big part of the team's future and the fans are going crazy! This once-first-overall selection in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft has seen some ups and downs since being rushed into the NHL. Habs management seems determined he is salvageable though and believe returning home to Quebec Could kickstart his career! @NMHockey you're up!
