Robin Lehner Makes Some Serious Accusations
Rush17 replied to Thrillhaus's topic in General Hockey Discussion
They sell us on the wholesomeness of our game. We want to believe in it because we are such die hard fans. Stuff like this though is a real wake up call. I knew pills were issued but I always assumed those were done by team doctors not coaches.. Whatever is going on I hope this airs out the laundry and gets things more transparent. -

More youth and picks to the pile! Thank you GM's for willing to work out deals with me. We are quite excited about the two players we added and the combined 4 draft selections. We would like to wish Colin, Marcus, and Kyle all the best in their future endeavours. Thanks for posting @Nail

Dawson Mercer and Lucas Raymond are vying for spots with the Blue Jackets. Both seem poised to take top 9 roles with their respective clubs. Check out these two beauties by Mercer! Lucas Raymond on the other hand.. has a goal and assist in 1 game and is now set to play his 2nd pre season game alongside... Fun times in CBJ! Looking like we got 2 looking likely and 2 others still vying for spots!

ST Louis' WJC eligible players! The world jr's are just a few months away! So we have put together a list of all our WJC eligible players! We saw a lot of players age out last year when STL had a healthy contingent of prospects. This year the Blues see a few returnees and a lot of 18 year olds. There is a good chance a number of the 18 year olds will have to wait until 2023. Returning for STL from last year will be Yaroslav Askarov (G), Lucas Raymond (LW), Theodor Neiderbach (C/RW) and new Russian draftee Kirill Kirsanov (D). Will see who else can crack the lineup. One would suspect Hendrix Lapierre makes the grade this season if he doesn't make the Capitals out of camp. Look forward to the WJCs!

Saw this on twitter and nearly spat my drink out. Lol -
New Jersey World Junior Hopefuls! All eligible players within the NJ system. I have been dealing with some health issues and currently off work. So I figured I would put my time to use and create a fun WJC sheet. Byfield may not be released by the LA Kings but it was a fun process nonetheless. We are excited for a fun and festive world jr championships! The WJC's are my favorite event of the year hands down! Thanks to all the GM's of FL for making this league so enjoyable! I realized after copying the image over that Robertsson actually is a returnee. My mistake lol. Either way it was fun to make.

Hey River, Unsigned prospects do not need ELC slides. Nail will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe its for players 20 and under who have signed their ELC's. Which lets you essentially extend their unsigned status and slides the start of their elc to the end of the slide. Alexander Campbell Roman Bychkov I believe are you're only two players eligible for a slide. @Nail please let me know if I botched that or got that right.

Pending trade call... NJ recalls F Nick Caamano to the New Jersey Devils.

You should feel proud you are killing it. Those percentages include the 2020 class as well. So it's a bit early on some of them just a year out.

The 2021-22 season is around the corner. Exciting for us all! The GML DRAFT HISTORY DOC though will need to be updated to reflect which prospects have played an NHL regular season game. If by chance once of your draftees ends up suiting up for an NHL regular season contest please let me know so I can update the history DOC. I will try and update it on annual basis but if you can save me the leg work it would be appreciated. Draft Doc is Below. If you want to be known a great talent evaluator lets fill up that NHL XP column with green on the right side. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Eagijj5whjjAmChiNwd2mROoNjd_c6MHihut6jT3Enw/edit?usp=sharing

Very excited to sign these guys to their ELC's. Artur Akhtyamov Artur we drafted last year. He is off to a bit of a shaky start this season but he has proven he can play well at some of the highest levels of Russia hockey. We are looking forward to working with him and helping him grow his game. Artur was selected by NJ in the early 5th round of the 2020 entry draft. Player Comparison: Semyon Varlamov (Video Below) Victor Sjoholm Victor was a player we saw at the u18's last summer and were thoroughly impressed with his pace of play and offensive skillset. We selected him early in the 5th round this past draft. We are hopeful Victor will earn his way on to next years WJC team (2023). The undersized 18 year old is set to play in the Allsvenskan this season. Player Comparison: Not Available (Video not available - only U18 game footage - picture below) Pavel Tyuynev Pavel was entering this past draft as his second year eligible. We identified his attributes of his game early on that we felt could one day translate to the NHL. Pavel will have a lot to work on this season and he is fast at work in the MHL with four points in six games played. NJ selected Pavel late in the 5th round in 2021. Player Comparison: Not Available (Video below) Very happy to welcome these kids into the fold. Why not get them signed to ELC's it will give us an extra year to evaluate them.

Ridly Greig # 17 in White having a strong pre-season game.Goood job kid. Just watch the face next time . On a positive note he is looking very close to NHL ready - pretty impressive performance by our 38th Selection of the 2020 Entry Draft.

Let's hope that's the case. He better play well in the exhibition games he gets or they would be rewarding for poor performance to protect an asset. That would look bad for the message they are trying to send to all the players. If you set a standard if you change the goal post and make exceptions it makes those standards appear flimsy. Jake Virtanen constantly never met expectations and he never grew because be wasn't held accountable. Let's not make this about Jake though he's long gone half way around the world now.

two back to back Top 5 picks leaving the organization really sucks. I'm glad we are getting value out of guys in the later rounds now. Jim was still training our scouting team how to identify talent back then. He was working with a completely inept scouting staff prior to that point. I can give him a pass on both I suppose with Rathbone emerging. I was honestly pissed knowing we would Juolevi on waivers but after Rathbones strong game today.. you know what I can deal with it. I see the upside on Rathbone now. I'm betting LA or CGY claim him if we waive him. My hope is we keep him on as a 7/8 D and get him some reps so we can flip him. I suppose a year in the AHL would be beneficial but I'm pretty confident he wouldn't clear waivers. Some team would give him an extended look at the nhl level.
