Bam. This story is going to start growing some pretty serious legs over the next 10 to 20 games. This team is definitely going to be in the lottery discussion come deadline time. Possibly the biggest asset management decision in recent history upcoming. -
-Boudreau's choices lately are just baffling. Why no Burroughs? Why isn't Brisebois up with the big club? Why break up Mil - Petey - Kuz? Why take Kuzmenko off PP1? Why break up Aman's line? Why is JT at center and not on Horvat's wing? Why is JT on the PK? Agreed on all fronts... Bruce seems fixated on tinkering with the few things that were decent for so far. Literally those 4 points have been my only optimistic take on the team so far this season. And while not the biggest Brisebois supporter, big Burroughs fan. Really missing his tenacity and heart. ... Geez Boeser looks slow out there. Another setback. The guy just can't get a break.

This was really inspiring Deb. Thanks so much for sharing. For me personally this one’s a bit of a wake up call and a reality that British Colombians should be much more sensitive towards. Seeing this young man interviewed with his parents and what they’ve been through has made me an instant fan and supporter. Really hoping it works out for him and the team. “Indian Horse” is now on my list. Positive vibes.

Totally agree. Edmonton, Toronto, Calgary last year. Even Colorado. Makar aside, the Avalanche needed their young core to grow 3 to 5 years before they put it all together. Add a few key signings and some good veterans and I believe it can be done. Edmonton failed year after year with numerous first overall and top 5 picks. Picking first overall is no guarantee of success. Certainly not in the short term.
