      Kid might be capable of stealing games, but he's also not at the point where he's ready to contribute at a high level consistently. He's definitely a big step down from Marky at this point in his career. Not his fault, of course.

    Hello everyone, I’ve taken over the Tampa bay lightning in the CDC league and i wanted to introduce myself. I’m happy to be here  and understand the trade deadline is fast approaching.

     

    I want to announce I want to overhaul the roster and am open to any trades. Including Bo Horvat. I’m ready to wheel and deal let’s get some moves done.

      Edler and Tanev are the defenseman I trust in our own zone currently. Even if healthy I question our ability to handle forwards with the size+speed combo come playoff time.

      I'm sure he could have been convinced to play wing for Horvat as he currently is in the world juniors.

       

      EDIT: I guess it should be said I also have a hard on for playmakers like Barzal, Pettersson and Zegras.

    What's everyone's relationship radii?  Say if it's a first date and if the guy suggests going somewhere for dinner but they live far away from each other, would it be unreasonable for the guy to suggest meeting at the place instead of picking their date up in this day and age?  (Guy lives in Vancouver, girl in Coquitlam, guy suggested checking out an event in DT... btw asking for a friend)

      1) Do they know each other previously? (AKA dating app or IRL history?)

      2) Dinner or any sort of time commitment event is generally bad idea for a first date, coffee is my go to. Coffee dates are easily extendable and easy to bail on.

      3) Agree with Jimmy, establish a sense of commitment right off the bat by going to her. I would advise against picking her up if this is off a dating app so the girl can feel in control of her ability to leave if she wants to. Even if they know each other unless she's at the point where she really trusts the guy I would suggest meet her at the event/place they choose.

      @Alain Vigneault  Only way I see Stralman here is if Tampa strikes out on Karlsson, veteran Swedes tend to like planting their roots. I wouldn't mind him though on a two year deal.

      I think this team still has too many flaws to go big with a UFA investment. Ideally, we need two more bonafide top four RHD to push Stecher down, another top four LHD, and two more top flight wingers.

    I just love how there’s absolutely zero media mention about what Rielly said but when there was a rumour about something Burrows said they made him out to be the worst person in NHL history.

      Well, I mean the two comments aren't in the same realm of offensive.

       

      There are guaranteed to be multiple players on every team that use homophobic slurs like Rielly, that's just sports culture. But there definitely aren't many players who would say what Burrows said.

    The mods on this site do a great job i must say.

    You let a discussion be free flowing, but moderate when needed.(repeated topics,personal attacks and etc).

    As a viewer of many forums,i must say this should be the standard for Mods and forum setup.

    Question tho...when did you guys relax a little bit on swearing, and why?

    i swear  years ago you guys were much more strict with it ..not that im complaining but ive noticed it and have wondered

    Anybody else seen the MrDeadMoth stuff that went down on Twitch? Absolutely horrifying to watch. Apparently the guy has been arrested. Hope he rots in jail for a long time.

      Not a surprise, the majority of Twitch is a cesspool. The individuals who run that site are incompetent when it comes to enforcing the so-called 'rules' they have set in place.

       

      Both father and mother in that situation are clearly bat$&!# insane. I feel for the kid.

    Everyone is talking about Goldy's emergence so far but what about Eriksson? Holy cow was he a stallion last night. Doing the dirty jobs at 120% all game.

      I'm more inclined to say both the Sedins and Eriksson need speed to compliment their game. On big ice speed isn't as much of a factor because there's so much room. On small ice however, they were easy to shut down.
