If you go for size, you end up picking the Nick Ritchies and Jake Virtanens of the league who found it easy to play against kids half their size in the minors. Picking based on position and not BPA is also a recipe for failure.

I really hope he isn’t automatically given a spot just because he cost us something. It can’t be mentioned enough that Chatfield, a guy who was just meh with the Canucks, comfortably beat him out to a spot. Bear is not the answer to our defense problems.
