  1. Fantenberg and Benn have not looked good in the #6 D spot, we need a solid defensive Dman to play with Myers. I wonder if they give Sautner, Brisebois, or Juolevi a chance there.
  2. If the Canucks can rid themselves of Sutter, Eriksson, and Baertchi before the start of the season Canucks will be looking really good. They need to nudge Loui into retirement, and Sutter/Baertchi will be one one year deals, they should be able to trade them with assets included.
  3. Not sure he would get much more than the minimum in arbitration as a bottom pairing D man, tough to tell.
  4. Stecher is an RFA so Canucks shouldnt have to pay open market prices. We will likely sign him for the qualifying offer price, which is around 2.3 I believe.
  5. Lind I dont see as being a fit on the fourth line, more top 9. He would have to pass two of Boeser, Toffoli, Podkolzin, and Virtanen imo, with the assumption we resign Toffoli which might not happen. Green has been very reluctant to play scoring winger on their off side as well.
  6. As much as I hate them to my core, Bergeron is very good come playoff time, Rask is looking good this year, and Pasta is having an MVP caliber year.
  7. Doesn't matter if he can never crack the Canucks lineup. I think we will eventually have to trade either Virtanen or Lind for some help on RD. Our biggest needs are RD and cap space if we can improve both in one transaction it makes the most sense to me.
  8. Yeah I will be crossing my fingers as much as the next guy, but if they keep adding pieces it doesn't see that likely. (they have alot of playoff experience on that team and could get an easy draw in first round like Toronto)
  9. The 2021 2nd would be hopefully a high second, and Lind is expendable if we sign Toffoli as we have Boeser, Toffoli, Virtanen, and Podkolzin ahead of him + he is eligable for ED.
  10. You want to keep Eriksson as he keeps declining, instead of freeing up cap space to retain valuable assets within the organization?
  11. This is a big difference in value from an mid 1st round pick to a late one, as well as an early 2nd to a late 2nd. The good thing for the Ducks is that it is a deep draft.
  12. In offseason, if we resign Toffoli. Lind + 2nd + Eriksson (2 Million retained) for a good young player, I would jump on.
  13. He is a late 2nd who hasnt excelled since the draft, I liked Axel as a prospect before the draft as well.
  14. Not really, our 1st would be much higher better than Boston's, Woo is a better prospect than Andersson, and Loui still plays in the NHL. I also like Kase alot more than Miles Wood.
  15. I agree, they shed much needed salary and get a good young winger for probably a very late first. This is probably equivalent to us trading Lind, Gadj and Loui For Kase, which I would do in a heart beat.
  16. There is alot of work to be done years leading up to the Olympics, they will probably be fine as they have good infrustructure and have the man power to build hospitals/infrastructure in a week.
  17. We will see if it even comes together, the corona virus could throw a wrench in there plans.
  18. Is it likely they return to a city 20 years after they hosted it, is there any other cities that has hosted the games multiple times other than Athens?
  19. Yeah we did the same thing with Hamhuis, how did that work out.
  20. Saw this also, not sure how creditable this guy is. I would do Gaudette, Stecher, and 2021 2nd/3rd for Risto.
  21. We have a log jam at LD, I wonder if they would do Brisebois for Simmonds.
  22. There is a log jam at center with Petey, Bo, and Gaud. Plus 4-5 solid wingers that will be looking to make the jump in the next 2-3 years. I see the following players making the NHL in the next 3 years: MacEwan Podkolzin Lind Hoglander Juolevi Woo?
