One thing we could do is make a transition to nuclear power. It does have problems, but it would reduce a lot of carbon dioxide emissions. Solar or wind would be better long term for the environment, but nuclear would be more reliable for the time being.

I don't really know about this guy, but seems like a good pick. Still, we need D prospects (although I don't really know who's available on D).

On the bright side, some major holes in the team were clearly displayed & can be addressed and the draft position will be better with a 1st round exit.

Willie's got to shorten the bench. The depth is great, but the Sedins need to be out there more. They don't need to be on the PK, but they need to be out there more. They can handle playing 18 or maybe even 20+ for now and the Canucks cannot afford to lose game 4. Also, play Edler, Tanev, and Hamhuis closer to the 25 minute mark (Iike Calgary is with Russell, Wideman, and Brodie.

Does anyone else think Hamhuis/Bieksa should be paired together for the playoffs?

At this point, the only thing Calgary has to their advantage is speed and physicality. The Canucks have experience, better D, and an overall better team.

Move Bieksa up to the 2nd pairing. Speed might be questionable on that pairing, but the leadership and overall play will be better. Weber's been playing well, but him and Hamhuis don't have chemistry together. Kassian and Vrbata could both be options with the Sedins if a spark is needed. Vey should come out. So, overall I'm thinking, if healthy: Sedins/Burrows Higgins/Bonino/Vrbata Matthias/Richardson/Kassian Dorsett/Horvat/Hansen Edler/Tanev Hamhuis/Bieksa Sbisa/Weber Miller or Lack

If Boston doesn't make it, the past 3 teams to knock the Canucks out of the playoffs are out. The team before that was Chicago, who was dealt with in 2011. Does this mean the Canucks will have great success? Yes, I know my logic makes absolutely no sense.

Have to give some props to Sbisa. He played 25:39 today (only behind Hamhuis at 26:52) and managed to be a plus player (not a big +/- fan, but it can still be useful).

Do you think Matthias is a top 6 forward on most NHL teams? I know he's on a hot streak, but I thought he's play fairly well all season (except the first 10 games or so).
