Exactly what I think. 2 years, and as I have said before, there will probably not be a place for him. Also if he comes back with his "I don't play in the AHL" contract in tact he damn well better be fit because Green is no different from WD, he will not play him. Also I see Green wanting him to use his size consistently, to intimidate opposition, clear out the crease and stand up for the young boys. Can he do that consistently, I am not sure.

"Inside I'm feeling dirty, it's only because I'm hurting" I miss hockey. The lyrics to this song and the construction are so clever that I constantly come back to it. Pertinent in the context of the film, both T1 and T2. Anyone who hasn't seen these films has missed out on magic imo. [Intro: Leith Congregational Choir] They know when it's time to die The world will cry It's the end of you [Verse 1] Only God knows when the beast was feeding Taking from our mouths when we ain't eating Only God knows Only God knows Shedding more blood than we are bleeding Shedding more blood than we are bleeding Only God knows when the beast is eating Taking from our mouths when we ain't eating Shedding more blood than we are bleeding Only God knows Only God knows God knows, things we believe in God knows it's time for the peace and God knows the kids in the street with their eyes on the leaders (anything I do) Only God knows Only only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) [A capella: Leith Congregational Choir] [Verse 2] Only God knows where your wife is sleeping Only God knows what the preacher's preaching Only God knows that the people are cheating Only God knows, you don't need him Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only, only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows (anything I do) Only God knows [Verse 3: Leith Congregational Choir] Cheating, begging and stealing Hustlin' what I can afford Breathing love and needing Reasons to go overboard [Bridge] Anything I do, anything I do Anything I do (anything I do) Anything I do I know the life that I'm leading I know the lies and the reasons I know it's going down in this evening Only God knows the time that I'm leaving [Outro] Anything I do (Only God knows, only God knows) They know when it's time to die The world will cry It's the end of you Say goodbye The end is now It's the end of me too

Warm summer night music for me. 3 "bands" who I love to play in the late evening. Candlepark Stars. (Kerry Muzzey) Echelon Effect: If you haven't listened to their Album Mosaic, don't leave it too long. Au4 are a band who always surprise. I love the nostalgia of this track, probably just something in my head. Vancouver boys of course

Life looks so much better in black and white. All the real characters are dead or dying off now and we are left with the 21st Century smart phone phoneys. Love the one of Jack Nicholson on the Triumph (?)
-
Great video Canuck Surfer but you missed a trick there. I would have posted this epic version. One of the best videos ever imo.
-
Never heard of this group. Love the small guy playing rhythm who ironically seems to take half the recording to catch the beat. I suppose they are just miming though.
-
Well if WD had Boeser and Vanek, how much better would they have been. All I was saying is there is no reason to cr-p on WD. He did pretty well with what he had.
-
You clearly didn't comprehend the fact I acknowledged that you didn't say it was outright defamatory. The very fact you brought the word "defamatory" into a debate about an errant hockey player says it all really. As for the personal abuse...........if that's how you get off, fill your boots.
-
What kind of convoluted argument is that meant to be. Sober up man, you are embarrassing yourself. I come onto this thread to add a bit of sanity to counter the ravings of butthurt Tryamkin zealots like you. Personal abuse = hit a nerve I guess.
-
You people are such a joke. The guy flies off and you act like we have lost Doughty. I repeat I am only interested in players who want to be here. I haven't spewed half the garbage Tryamkin has. He should have apologised for messing the Canucks about, at least that would have been more honest. He wasn't ready, that is the fact and rather than man up to that fact he tries to blame everyone else - even the city ffs.
-
Behave yourself ffs. Hate has never come into it. Just because I don't drink the Kool-aid doesn't mean I hate the guy. I have said many a time on here I don't give a stuff about individual players, it is the Club I support. If some immature Russian wants to mess around with my Club then fine but don't expect me to idolise him for it, as some do on here. This whole thread smacks of the Kassian sh-- all over again, it's hilarious. Excuse me if I concentrate on players who want to be playing for my team and you can continue your infatuation with your Russian pentwitterpal in the mean time.
-
Almost defamatory? Well good luck with that. Read the article again he qualifies almost every statement he makes with conjecture. If you think any of that would stick in a court of law you are living in a fantasy world. Imo the blogger would have a better case for suing some of the posters on here. You have gone well over the top with your last para. But then that is to be expected on CDC, ironically where there is even more chance of reading something here that could hurt others or their careers.
-
As I thought, you didn't even read the article in the first place. Obviously not enough fiction in it for you, judging by the way you usually post all manner of here-say on here and give it credence.
-
Read the link, the blogger didn't try to do the interview, a German hockey scout, writer and contributor to Fox Sport called Janik Beichler did. By the way the blogger is only biased in your opinion. Your last sentence confirms to me you have not read the link. Beichler was in Denmark at the Championships and tried to arrange an ad hoc interview with Tryamkin through an interpreter. Tryamkin agreed, said he would do it in English and then did a runner.
-
It is the melt down of hypocrisy that is comic on here from some posters/zealots. I take it yours was rhetorical.
-
Ffs Alf he didn't ask you to believe him. Go read the blog again. He didn't make anything up, he gave an opinion - it's you that is making stuff up. As for the rest of your post, good luck with that. Regarding the coach just let me say that with a much better roster Green manage 1? more win than WD and they were down to some "elixir of life" the Sedins swallowed before the last 4 games
-
So what are you saying? He is not allowed to write his own opinion in his own blog unless it conforms to yours? He never asked you to believe it. It is opinion. Goodness knows he qualified it enough or are you ignoring that. Alf, you posted the other day, some sh-- about William Nylander and stated it like fact, so you should talk. As for Tryamkin coming back, don't hold your breath - and that's my opinion.
-
Come clean SS you guys are butthurt because Tryamkin doesn't care enough about the Canucks fans to give a 5 min. interview. Why didn't he? It's not like the interviewer asked for money. If I had related that whole piss poor attitude of Tryamkin on a blog I would have probably reached the same conclusions as the blogger. Mind you I don't sleep under a massive photo of a 3 line D who spent a season and a bit here before running back to Russia.
-
I think it was a fair opinion as I said. You don't agree, that's fine but he is still entitled to assess the interview/or lack thereof as he wants - it's his blog and he is not forcing anyone to read it. Imo, Tryamkin could have used the interview with the German to convey news back to Canuck fans, he indicated he would and then for no apparent reason other than not apparently wishing to inform the Canucks fans, he changed his mind. What other conclusion can you draw? A blog by definition is normally just one person's opinions on subjects which interest the blogger. He doesn't profess to be a journalist. Everything you have heaped on the guy is just massive overkill and frankly a bit defensive.
-
Tas we will just have to agree to differ on this one. I don't see it like you do. I feel there is a double standard here. If the chap had got the interview and the blogger had relayed a whole lot of positives, CDC would not have given a damn that he wasn't an actual journalist. There is more than the bloggers drinking their own kool-aid.
-
I disagree entirely, to the point where I wonder if you actually read the article properly. When I asked you to substantiate your opinion that he was a liar, I expected some alternative articles, because this one certainly doesn't. He is stating opinions, that does not make him a liar. If it did this forum is crammed with liars. In fact there are places where he seems to be sympathetic to Tryamkin and even says he wants to see him back. "and it appears he wants nothing to do with anyone connected to the Canucks." " it seems he still feels burned by the organization." "Whether that feeling is misplaced is up for debate." " but you could say that Tryamkin gave up on North America a little too quickly." "In light of this, I think it’s just a sign to give him time. The Vancouver Canucks retain his signing rights until July 1, 2022 and his KHL deal is set to end in 2020. Last year, Tryamkin did say he would not consider a return for at least three years." "However, the way he’s closing himself off to Canucks media is not a promising start. Sure, things could change in a few years, but if he loves playing in Russia, the Canucks will have to present a lot more than money to bring him back." "Besides, when Tryamkin left, he was a third-pairing defenceman. I miss him too, but he wasn’t playing like a number one blueliner." "Injuries left some terrible players available on the blue line, making Tryamkin stand out a little more." "I would assume Jim Benning and Trevor Linden are already planning for a future without Tryamkin There is absolutely nothing said by this guy that would invite the deluge of "hate" showered on him by the Tryamkin zealots on here. His blog is littered with possibilities and opinion. He does not try to portray them as facts at all. In fact compared to the average poster on here he seems to try to avoid giving opinion as fact. For the uneducated "assume" "you could say" "whether" "you could say" (again) "it seems" "it appears" "things could change" are all conjectural terms not a statement of fact. As far as I can see the only instances where he didn't make it clear it was only his opinion is where I would say he knew he was on safe ground. eg only a fool would say he was playing like a top liner or deny that the fact our D being pretty poor made Tryamkin look better. Is Tryamkin "closing himself off" to the Canucks, who knows, he seems to lack maturity and the way he conducted that interview was not indicative of a player who wanted to let Canucks fans know how he was getting on or what he may see in the future." If he does come back I hope he doesn't "pretend" to not understand English and the Canucks give him some media training. (although from past form he would probably accuse the Canucks of singling him out for unfair treatment - again) All in all just another CDC $&!#storm in a tea cup.

WTF is ridiculous about 16+ mins? We are not talking about OEL here. His roster "moves" as you put it were down to injuries and no decent replacements. If the Sedins hadn't had a spurt of form in these last few games TG would have won the same number of games as WD had the year before and TG had a far superior roster. Your bias is embarrassing.
