If you are too lazy to check your own posts, you can play solitaire from now on.
-
Well I was unaware of that Tas. Can you post some evidence or point me to where it might be found? I tend to try and take everyone at face value.
-
Why not? We ourselves are expected to be taken seriously and at our word. Just because what is said doesn't suit you, that is no reason to suspect he is a liar. Have you any proof he is a liar? If you have I might change my position.
-
Again you failed to read his post to me. I'm through with you. You're just a troll.
-
More BS from you. You said he didn't agree. It is obvious he did to begin with. If you had cared to read the article before posting you would have seen that.
-
Bollocks. If Green had been the coach of that "cluster--k" of a team Willie was left with he would have dealt with Tryamkin no differently. He would have wanted him to use his size to maximum effect and he would have demanded fitness and accountability. Green respected WD and they were apparently good friends. The hypocrisy on here stinks. Every time Tryamkin flattened a guy these boards went into melt down and there was 50 pages on it from every angle. WD wants that to be a consistent feature of his game and CDC whine like babies about it.
-
I don't think he did. He wanted Try to bully him, knock him on his ass. He showed him videos of Pronger intimidating with his size and being nasty. Of course it's no surprise we get a coach who wants players to step up the physicality, getting condemned on here - hypocrisy is the soup of the day, every day, on here. The best you can say for Tryamkin, is ONCE MORE he reads something into what has been said to him and misunderstands.
-
Well you can't talk. The next time you have an opinion, will be your first. But hey thanks for coming out from under your. stone, hope it's not too bright for you.
-
Read the article again and calm down before you have an accident ffs. Tryamkin asked if he wanted to do it in English? Then he seemed to have an attack of "self entitled rock star" and stormed off.
-
No he didn't. He did what most of the people on here do. He deduced from the fact that Tryamkin showed a pure lack of class in his dealing with someone who only wanted to relate some interesting Q&A to the Canucks fanbase. An article if it had come off, would have had most of the people who have obsessed with this guy, to be all over it, dissecting it, reading and re-reading goodness knows what into every nuance, every comma and every full stop. Your last sentence is just a load of BS designed to dis me which should embarrass you.
-
Tryamkin: “you wanna do in English?” What does that look like to you? Jeez you people are sadder by the day.
-
You sound like you're Tryamkin's mom.
-
It was the fact he agreed and then dissed the guy that showed a lack of maturity imo. Of course you would do what "Nik".............. says it all really.

Spook, the truth is I don't know. The problem (in judging, if not in effect) was he chose to stay back with his school in order to be with his autistic brother, rather than start Harvard last year. That won't hurt his ultimate progress but it did cause him to be picked far further down than he might have been. Smart of Jimbo to ignore this and concentrate on the boys talent and character. That said, go and watch his skating, lateral movement and speed with the puck, they all look special to me (I'm no scout of course) It was noticeable that as Rathbone was roasting the whole opposition team every time he got the puck the commentator remarked that (she was a home commentator) she didn't want to see No5 (Rathbone)on the puck any more.

Rathbone skates like a dream. I'm already pencilling him into the top 2. He is one of the best skaters I have seen at that level. He is an offensive livewire and seems strong at the back. If he develops (and grows) as he should at Harvard I think Jimbo may have uncovered the defensive equivalent of BB. A real gem.

You have no idea what type of integrity the blogger has. What a load of BS. Baseless, perceived as fact? Oh the irony. What are you basing any of that guff you have written on? If the interview went as described it is you who has read your own interpretation into it, not the blogger. It seems pretty straight forward, the self entitled " next Chara" thinks he is some kind of bad mannered "rock star." Luckily it should not be long before there is no place for this guy, even if he changes his addled mind and I for one won't miss him. So the "jilted boyfriend thread" goes on and on and on no doubt till Tryamkin is retired and never really amounted to anything. Tryamkin must p-ss himself laughing if he reads these "love letters from a foreign land"
-
Just more signs of his ego and immaturity imo. The guy wasn't a proper journalist, fine, but Tryamkin didn't have to act like a dick about it. If this is what he is still like then I'm not going to miss him. There is a flaw there and I don't think it's going to help him in his career whether here or Russia.
-
He played for Chicago Wolves when they were our affiliate. He can fight but he is no DD. Why not youtube him?
-
Annnnnd it's back on the meds for you Alfie-boy.
-
Well I have to say it. Imo he will find it hard to stay on the puck in the NHL until he has built himself up a bit. He is slightly protected by these large ice surfaces and he will just not get the room or the time in the NHL and that is normally why a young player coming in usually has to build strength. There may be one or two exceptions but Elias still has to prove he is one of them. I actually think he will thrive better if started off in the AHL where regular training will allow him to put on muscle.
-
I think I agreed with you until you mentioned Tanev. He'd better change his style. He just refuses to get out of the way of checks. That is not a help to his game, it is a hinderance. He's lucky he has lasted this long before the serial injuries have set in. Lockwood's problem is he has a lions heart in a 170lbs body. He tries to hand out punishment to opponents like he is 230lbs.
-
I predicted that - but guess what? I didn't see it like that at all. On the contrary I thought Archi did well in almost every game he played. You know it's not always easy performing well every night in a team that is struggling through injuries.
-
You are probably right. I was just doing a bit of day dreaming.
-
We need to make sure our young guys have support though, especially if the UFA is a top player. I would love to see Tavares effect on out young prospects.
-
I'm just saying what I read. Apparently his coach said he was just about the most combative player on the team. He apparently lives to hit and check and it has been doing that which has given him an injury history. Re the videos, I agree with you, there is not much he could have done. However without having seen the game, maybe he was going about hammering opponents and they just decided to get nasty.
