    People do get more conservative as they age. Polling numbers reflect that. The 50/50 split does not take into account of age. So as hippies age and move over to the right, young people 'appear' and replace them. So yes the overall numbers stay the same over time. Having said that, I do very much doubt that people move all the way across the spectrum over their life; people don't change that much.

    Socially, society has become more liberal. You are correct. Economically, however, not a single North American elected politician is willing to raise taxes to support social services.

    Are you sure they are the same people? Back in those days, about as many people supported the Vietnams war as people against it. The population has always been approximately 50% left and 50% right, give or take a few points here and there. The centre might have changed, but that 50/50 demographic make up has not changed.

    Most scientists (that I have heard speak) are centrists to centre left. Like, who has ever heard of a hard right natural scientist before?

    No. The extremes are louder than everyone else and get all the headlines. Most people are reasonable. And no, the extreme right is not the result of the extreme left. The Tea Party and Westborough Baptist church predate this so called 'SJW' era.

    Cool. Thanks for all the inside scoops and reports on the Comets. If they move to another city we won't have another you in that city. So I hope the Comets stay! (Also I live in Toronto and they go there quite often haha!)

    Black Panther - 8.5/10 Way better than I predicted. Not just another super hero movie. I could almost cheer for the bad guy.

    Interesting opinion. I personally liked TD2 so I'm borderline offended. LOL! Sharp Objects is the total opposite of what TD2 was. It doesn't even bother with the crime solving plot. I have an easy time explaining why I don't like Sharp Objects: it's slow and boring, too much drinking and the Zeppelin doesn't fit at all. But I have a much tougher time trying to explain why I still like it....

    Ready Player One - 7/10 It's a better movie than I had expected. The Shining sequence was awesome. But at the end of the day it is still just mainstream cheese.

    Who Is America - 7/10 He punks both the far left and the far right. It's not as good as I was hoping but still pretty funny.
