  1. Pucks continuously break bones on what seems like a daily basis.  They can't find a different material to use that is softer?  The players shoot to hard.. Laine is the latest victim, a superstar teenager on his way to a possible Rocket Richard trophy

      Lol honestly it's getting to that point.  I'm getting tired of watching players go down like flies because they play with a frozen solid hard rubber puck

      Less dense material means slow pucks. Scoring would go way down.

       

      Hockey is not a soft game, never has been. Players know the risk when they block shots.

       

      Unfortunately we can't make the sport 100% injury free.

      If you figured out how to make pucks softer and resistant to freezing, they would travel slower.  The goalies of today are too good to give them even more time to see and react to a puck coming.
