I've been watching Ludvig Hoff's progression for the last year. He's a player I would definitely use a late round pick on. Strictly statistical, his numbers don't pop out whatsoever. But he's a good playmaker that has shown a good developmental curve so far.
Came to North America as a 17 year old and played for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL. A steady point increase before getting 57 points in 56 games in his final year.
The freshman at UND was 2nd in F/O percentage on his team and picked up 16 pts (4G,12A) in 36 games. He can play the wing if needed, so he's flexible. He plays hard game in and game out, and shows up when the chips are down. A little undersized at 5'10, but it hasn't held him back in his first year against college players. I'm confident he'll have NHL interest come his junior year, so get his rights now.
