aren't there 2 reasons to consider trading marky?

he is an ufa after this season and remains unsigned

so if his ask is not doable he needs to be traded this season

even if he is resigned, the nucks have to deal with the upcoming expansion draft

they must expose a goalie

either marky or demko

who they would then lose for no return

if they both are as good as it appears they are

that might be silly

as the team could likely get a decent return in a trade

and simply expose another lesser goalie in expansion

forcing seattle to take a different position player off our roster

so i think goalie movement discussion

has some value

the issue is when is the best time?

tdl for marky is he is not resigned by then ?

or let him walk ?

Would you consider trading one of them if it got us a young top pairing right side Dman to play with Hughes?
