French speakers of CDC, do you use “donc” or “alors” to mean “so”?

As someone bilingual, it depends on the sentence. “Donc” is what you would hear from a native speaker 99% of the time; It can mean “and then”. Think dude where’s my car at the Chinese restaurant. “Alors” is used similarly to therefore; the previous remark relates to the next. It would be first in translations because it directly translates.
