      Karlsson's still pretty good, look at his points and then look at the team's record. Does he need to be better? Yes.
       

      But the entire team has fallen around him.

       

      Jones was never a great goalie, and age caught up to Thornton. Vlasic's play has fallen off a cliff.

      He traded Kadri and got Sakic to retain on Barrie - I'd say that's a pretty solid move. And getting Ottawa to take on Zaitsev's full contract in exchange for one year of Ceci with no retention on Zaitsev? Mouillé.

       

      Say what you will about Sportsnet's overzealousness towards the Leafs, but they were pretty good moves, all things considered.

    I posted an OJ Simpson Twitter video on what's supposed to be his new Twitter account, but I just remembered reading an article a day or two ago about new software making it easier to morph people's faces on videos and adding audio so now I'm going to wait and see if it's actually real.  I think it is, but the part at the end where he says he has some getting even to do makes me wonder.

    Is Canucks only interested in Nikita Zaitsev to lure Nikita Tryamkin back? Speculation

      If we're interested in Zaitsev purely for that reason, then I expect us to draft Podkolzin if he falls and sign Panarin to 7x11.5 as well.

       

      I won't complain if that's the case, though :lol:

       

      That being said, if we re-sign Edler, acquire Zaitsev, and bring back Tryamkin, that leaves us with those 3, plus Hughes, Stecher, Hutton, Tanev - someone needs to be moved.
