  1. signings/counters probably coming by the end of the week!
  2. As @Watermelons never matched this offer, Gardner is officially an Avalanche. Avalanche? Snowball? Ice clump? He's signed to Colorado, whatever he is. @Big-Country
  3. Martin Fehervary - 3 years, $725k Craig Anderson - 1 year, $1m Dakota Joshua - 3 years, $1m Niklas Hjalmarsson - 1 year, $1.5m Niklas Kronwall - 1 year, $1m Mats Zuccarello - 2 years, $4.5m
  4. Ron Hainsey - 2 years, $2m Dmitry Kulikov - 1 year, $1.25m Gemel Smith - 1 year, $700k
  5. I'm happily surprised to see him in Syracuse - apparently skating is his biggest weakness, so spending time working with Barb Underhill should do him well.
  6. Still not big on the Myers signing, but this might have been GMJB's best offseason otherwise

    2. Wash

      Wash

Agree with Alflives here.   If Myers is solid for us, it takes the load off Edler and Tanev and shifts everyone below them down a spot to where they are better suited.   Cautiously optimistic!

    3. Violator

      Violator

Canucks offseasons have been getting better and better lately.

    4. Coconuts

Even if he doesn't blow people away having him as depth is great, he takes some of the weight off of Edler and Tanev's veteran shoulders. Benn does too.

What's really made me happy about Benning's work this summer is he's been able to nail the dollar amount without giving away term to compensate for it.

  7. I would say so. Minnesota is the over-the-hill gang, while Arizona is young and nearly made the playoffs last season while half their team was injured.
  8. If anyone wants a spreadsheet formula for calculating your roster/cap space, let me know and I'll give you access to a google sheet that you can copy and paste!
  9. to anyone whose transaction I just posted, I won't be able to update fantrax rosters until later today. So unless another commissioner is able to (), my apologies in the meantime!
  10. To FLA: Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Dominik Simon To OTT: Derek Forbort, Sven Baertschi, 2020 FLA 2nd round pick @inane @Azzy
  11. To SJS: Andy Greene, Jan Jenik, Kyle Topping To OTT: Jonas Brodin, Chandler Stephenson @Azzy @pmalina
  12. Jack Rodewald - 3 years, $900k Joona Koppanen - 3 years, $700k Tomas Jurco - 2 years, $800k Rhett Gardner - 3 years, $1m* Jaycob Megna - 1 year, $1m Kevan Miller - 1 year, $1.25m * - As Rhett Gardner is an RFA from Vancouver, @Watermelons will have seven days from this announcement (11:50 am PST, July 17, 2019) to either match the offer or accept compensation. Due to the contract's salary, the compensation owed would be nothing.
  13. To be honest, when you trade as much as SV or myself, almost every trade ends up a wash in the end
  14. No! That's not true! I won a deal with him once, I think To ARZ: Charlie McAvoy, 3rd Rd Pick To CHI: Olli Juolevi, 1st Rd Pick Granted, I think he took Elias Pettersson with that pick, so...
  15. somethingvery - legendary GM. If he was still here, he'd have contacted you for a trade by now
  16. Clear loss for Chicago, but they managed to turn Strome into a star...
  17. I offered ~1/6 of my fantasy points from last year and offered to take back Ericsson in the same deal? I know it's ridiculous from RL perspective, but Kapanen on his own put up as many fantasy points as Dahlin last season.
  18. Same as last year, IIRC? The buyout window will be 00:01 on Saturday 21 July 2018 (PST) to 23:59 on Friday 14 September 2018 (PST). - Players must pass through waivers to be eligible for a buyout.
  19. Taro Hirose - 3 years, $3.5m Anton Stralman - 2 years, $3.5m
  20. Yeah, but take a look at his prospects and draft picks
