  1. It feels so great when some of my clothes fit me loose! I am wearing a skirt I bought years ago and did not try it on at the time of purchase. When I got home, it fit me tight. I've been wearing the skirt lately and it is baggy. That's great!
  2. Yeah, Fall and Winter are kind of depressing and with the cold and rainy days. But there is hockey to go to games and watch on TV.
  3. That's so sweet! I went over to Vashon Island (a ferry ride from West Seattle) last Saturday, and had a beer at a local brewery on the main street (a restaurant type thing). It was great! Sitting outside and enjoying a nice American Amber.
  4. That's nice @Chris12345! Are you having a beer? I'm drinking kombucha and had to take care of something.
  5. You betcha! wonder what 27 degrees is to in F. It is 86 degrees here right now. Loving it!
  6. This spider is big. You just can’t see it in the picture.  I wonder how it got in. It’s been there all day.  I’m a little freaked out right now because it’s big and there.  I wonder how get rid of it without it falling to the ground and crawling around unknown. I’ve seen smaller spiders and called them all Wally.  Wally has gotten big!

I like to negotiate with spiders until they walk onto a paper and then gently deposit them into the outside world where they belong.

you'll be okay as long as you don't eat kurds and whey or drink red wine. oh and don't sleep with you mouth open. if she spins a web in your dreams, eat clams or oysters. your dreams will get better.

  7. You just reminded me of someone I dated a long time ago from Korea. It was one of the best relationships I ever had. Then he went back to Korea. I was in my 20s, and met him while skateboarding one night. We were at a crosswalk and him and his friend said hi. We all chatted and I got both of their numbers. I found that I had more things in common with him than his friend and I began dating him. I tried teaching him how to skateboard one evening, and my way was pushing him down the hall of my building. He was so freaked out and I thought it was funny! After that, he was no longer interested in learning how to skateboard. One of the things that I thought was very thoughtful is that he went to New York and when he got back, he gave me a Luigi keychain. He said he saw it and thought of me and how much I loved playing Mario. Then he had to go back to Korea after months of us dating. He asked if I wanted to continue our relationship. I didn't. The reason was that he was moving back to Korea and I was in Seattle. I did not see a point of it. I look back on it now. And he liked me, but also, dating me was new to him. He had never dated an American before. It was new and exciting for him. To me it was like - I like him, he's great, fun, and he have many things in common. As for my other relationships with, like, American men, that's something else.
  8. Tonight I am having two tortillas. Both have organic arugula, eggs, ghost pepper cheese, and avocado. It is yum yum!
  9. I was watching 90 Day Fiance. A lot of that is cultural differences.
  10. Radiohead - The Bends. It's a really good album. I used to listen to it in 1997ish and later. The album came out before 1997. I call this video "the shopping cart video".
  11. Day 2 of All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs. I'm changing it from an 8 to a 9 due to episode 5. Episode 5 is epic. A must see! Oh gosh, not to spoil it for all of you, but it involves losing! And to the Habs!!
  12. Epic. The Handi Snacks have arrived! Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!

      Nice!

I've been thinking about Vashon Island wines and Olympic Cellars on the Olympic Peninsula.

Oh yeah, I decided to take the ferry over to Vashon Island.  The vibe is totally different here than in Seattle.  Much more laid back.  I’m having a beer right now, an American Amber.

  13. All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs. This is what happens when I am bored and there is no other programming to watch. I've watched this before and liked it, so I am watching it again. I give it about an 8.
  14. It's quite the thing when you're just about out of cookie butter while looking at the jar very carefully thinking how much more you can get out of it. Then you open the jar of peanut butter and think to yourself - well this will do... Why have peanut butter when you can have cookie butter! But you're all out! Cookie butter is so much better than peanut butter...!

Hard to find but damn tasty. More important for me 4 grams of sugar for 32 grams (ie two tablespoons).

That sounds great @Ghostsof1915.  I've never had that, but I am enticed to try that. That with my apples.

  15. Juice. He has so much personality, and I loved watching him be interviewed.
  16. Licorice Pizza? I had to Google that to see what that movie was about. Amazon has new movies on their Prime app. I'm watching - House of Gucci. I don't know what I give it.
  17. You must wake up really early. Ugh, it's 67f in Seattle right now. Not quite up to par, but it is sunshine, so I should go walking. Ta-ta!
  18. I know what you mean. I was really tempted to turn on the heater the other day, but I used my electric blanket to warm up. I still turn on my electric blanket at night in the summer before bed. Oh boy, 32c = 89f. I had to Google that. I cannot estimate right away what 32c is in f. I think you multiply by 2.8 or something like that and you get a close number.
  19. Do you mean brutal as in a good way - that it was hot, but not even 35. Or, do you mean brutal as - oh gosh! It was not even 35 today!
  20. I was kind of sad that it was not hot out today and sunny. It was raining and cloudy. But, I am really looking forward to those hot days! They're coming up! I will be out walking and enjoying the sun!
  21. I compare grocery stores for the kombucha. At one grocery store, it is 2 for $5 and at another one, it is about $2.25 each here in Seattle. I look at the price per ounce, and if the bigger bottle is on sale and the price per ounce is cheaper, then I will get the bigger bottle.
  22. I get really excited when I plan out my grocery list! Here's my list for this week: Handi Snacks 12 pack Kombucha Cheese Organic kale Organic bananas Avocados String cheese Frozen meals From this list you can probably tell that I live alone with no children and I am single with a cat!
